I bought this as a Christmas gift. I'm sure the receiving party will love it. He has arthritis and the handle will make it so easy to use.

I have had the Wusthof Mezzaluna for years and love it. The blade has always stayed sharp and it is the best to chop herbs, celery, garlic and onions.
My board split after my husband put it in the dishwasher but he was smart enough to buy a John Boos board to replace it. The new board even made it better as it is bigger and heavier.
All in all, this is definitely one of my favorite kitchen tools!

The Mezzaluna set works well with chopping herbs and vegetables. Very Handy. The concave board provides a safe cutting surface.

While this set comes with a quality mincing board and the steel on the mezzaluna is nice, the set is overshadowed by the dicey quality of the mezzaluna handle. Its made of a cheap plastic that just barely flirts with being ergonomic. On the bright side, its a textured cheap plastic that allows the user to get a good grip. While its not exactly ergonomically sound, its not uncomfortable for periodic use, its just not something that I go out of my way to use in my kitchen. In all, well made, but somewhat lacking in comfort and a little pricey.
Pros: wusthof quality steel, well made mincing board, wusthof warranty
Cons: not that comfortable, price, handle has a cheap feel
