The first Wusthof paring knife set I used was a gift from my husband. I was so impressed with the quality, the ease of cutting, and the overall feel of the knives in my hand that I have purchased four sets to give as gifts to the special chefs in my life. All have said that they threw their other paring knives away after using the new knives ONCE! We joke that we all have become "knife snobs".

These arrived just in time to test them during our annual quince preserve making. Quince are a difficult fruit to peel and very hard to cut into small pieces. The bird's beak knife was the best helper we have ever had for the peeling process and the paring knives helped finish the prep work in record time. Comfortable handles, strong knives and sharp, sharp blades. Highly recommended product.

The knives are easy to keep sharpened and are used constantly at our house. The curved knife is great for sectioning grapefruit and oranges. I bought one set for a gift.

These knives feel so good when wroking with them. Great value for a Wusthof quality. Right size for the job, comfortable to use and hold up to some of the heavier things to pare. peel and dice.
Love them and all their other W-knives. Looks good in the block knife holder easy to clean. Good gift for anyone.

I am ecstatic with these paring knives. I cook and prepare a lot of food weekly. Knives are the key to ease with cooking and these knives fit the bill. I like having several so that I don't have to continually wash between differetn uses.

I purchased these as a gift to my wife who is a restaurant chef. They have become her favorites for preparing fancy carved vegetables as garnishes to showcase her dishes and they are in constant use. Quality is excellent. I would have rated them as 5 stars, but they do required frequent sharpening. For every day home use, I'm sure they would stay sharp a very long time.

THIS IS MY GO-TO SET OF KNIVES; I KEEP THEM CLOSE TO MY WORKSPACE AND AM NOW BUYING ANOTHER SET AS I OFTEN USE THE WHOLE SET WHEN PREPARING A LARGE MEAL. THE HANDLES ARE THE MOST COMFORTABLE I HAVE EVER USED; THE BLADES STAY SHARP LONG; AND I LOVE THE FACT THAT I CAN THROW THEM INTO THE DISHWASHER ---- AFTER NEARLY HALF A YEAR OF USING THE FIRST SET AND DISHWASHING AFTERWARDS, I SEE NO WEAR WHAT SO EVER. I INITIALLY BOUGHT THESE AS I HAVE THE LARGER WUSTHOF CHEF KNIVES FOR MEATS, ETC AND HAVE HAD FOR NEARLY THREE YEARS AND WOULD NEVER BE WITHOUT. AT SEVENTY, I HAVE USED MANY DIFFERENT BRANDS OF KNIVES, AND THE WUSTHOF KNIVES ARE BY AND LARGE THE BEST I HAVE EVER OWN. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FOR OWN USE AND FOR GIFT GIVING.

I bought these because of the name and the price combination--not expensive. The knives are not the quality I usually buy. They have the sandwiched steel in the handle and the steel is lighter weight than I am used to. However, they are extremely sharp. I wanted them for my motor home, so they are more than adquate for that. Good match of price and quality.
