A very handy kitchen tool

"When I received an e-mail from Chef's introducing this product, I ordered an initial four of them and intend to add many to my collection. I use these Cool Tools for a myriad of purposes. You can lay it on your hand and put a casserole right out of the oven on it and feel absolutely nothing through the silicone, then take the entire thing and lay it on the table knowing full well your furniture will be well protected. Great for anytime you need a non-slip grip, whether to open a jar or handle a slippery pot handle. I store them as protectors between my expensive cookware - reason alone to have a stack of them. Best of all, I throw them in the dishwasher. Another great item to have in your kitchen arsenal!"

"I have many of these in my kitchen. They can be used for many functions. I use them between pots and pans to prevent scratches and keep them from sliding around. I use them under hot pots and pans on the counter. I have even used them to open a difficult jar. Invaluable product...and the kiwi color matches my Le Creuset pots."
