Gingerbread Pancakes And Waffles ?

Cons: sorry i didn't buy more gingerbread b4 it's gone
"Wow! Was I surprised when I made pancakes using the Gingerbread. I only bought 1 can to try because I was concerned that the gingerbread might be too strong. It's not at all. It has a definate taste of gingerbread , but not strong like the Christmas cookies. I've had the original and love it, but was not expecting to like the gingerbread so much and will be buying more the next time I order. I hope they don't run out of them before I do.
The taste, texture and aroma make for a delicious treat.
Between the Original and Gingerbread, I won't be buying any store brand pancake/waffle mixes anymore. The Best !"

"I bought recently bought a commercial waffle maker since my husband and I both love the waffles we get from the hotels we stay at while on business trips. I tried different name brand waffle mixes and could not get the same taste and texture that was even close to the hotel waffles. I even went on line to find a recipe that might work. I found a recipe that was pretty good but it was complicated to prepare thus I never made it again. THEN I TRIED CARBONS!! It is the best ever and we love the waffles. The flavor is there and so easy. I now make waffles weekly. I had family visit lately and made waffles. They loved them. I ended up giving a container to my sister-in-law . I gave her the web site too. I will not use any other waffle mix. Thanks for a terrific product."

"We bought a commercial waffle maker hoping to get "hotel/restaurant" quality belgian waffles. Although the waffles "look" great out of our new maker, the flavor was missing! We had tried several different supermarket brands- but nothing compared to the ones from our favorite breakfast places. I saw this mix advertised when I purchased my waffle maker, but thought it may just be a seller. I made my first batch with this mix and.... PERFECT! Just what I was hoping for.... FLAVOR!"

"great flour mix, love all the flavors. Great for breakfast dessert and snacks. Suggestion : that Carbon's develop a Buckwheat flavor as well. Found only one other brand makes a good Buckwheat mix, wasted a lot of time and money to find that one, but I would bet that Carbon's could be even better."

Cons: suggest they create a buckwheat flavor
"Have tried numerous pancake / waffle mixes and these top them all. The malted and the flavored (chocolate and blueberry) are all great. Now I don't have to create my own chocolate flavored mix anymore, which is not as good as Carbon's. Great as belgium waffles for dessert or snack with all the toppings. Used the Waring double sided flip waffle maker also from Chefcatalog and made perfect waffles. Now if only Carbon's would offer a buckwheat flavor."

"I used the original Carbons pancake and waffle mix and really liked it. It used to be really cheap on Chefs.com around two years ago. Then they raised their prices. It's still worth it. The malt flavor is unique and hard to find.
I feel it's best to use real maple syrup."

"I bought 4 cannisters of this. Some for a gift and some for my house and lake house. This is a great product. This is the brand used in many of the breakfast bars in hotels across the country. Great taste and easy to mix and use. I got both the original and chocolate. With either - you can't go wrong. Kids and adults both love it."

"This makes the best Belgian Waffles I've had at home. I've tried many recipes but was never able to duplicate or even come close to the waffles my husband and I get when we go out for breakfast. It got to the point where all I would order was the waffles because that was the only time I could have them that were so good. Now that I've found this mix I CAN duplicate them at home and this is a wonderful thing. We both love this mix and will be using it for as long as they keep making it!!"

"About 20 years ago or so I discovered this product when I worked in a restaraunt.. You could only get it from the distributor. We had a Carbon's salesman that came to our restaraunt about every 2 months or so to deliver it to us. He had a three state teritory. WA. OR., & ID. It is the best mix on earth. It makes the best blueberry pancakes as well.
I was so excited to see this mix available at a retail level.
Thanks, Chefs for selling this amazing waffle mix !!!!"

"My husband makes waffles for the family on Sundays. When the children started to balk at this tradition they once insisted upon, I started to inquire. It seems my husband ran out of Golden Malted and had been using a brand he bought at the supermarket. The children noticed the change immediately and likened it to 'bad school cafeteria food.' Needless to say, I am placing another order to do my part for the preservation of tradition."
