This cake pan came recommended from Cooks kitchen. They had tested all types and said this was the one to get, so I did. I have never seen this quality of cake pans in any store and not to mention a 6" size. I will most likely buy the 8" too!

I love to bake cakes and with these pans you never have to worry about the cake sticking to the pan. These pans are wonderful for anyone who loves to bake and they would make a great bridal gift. I have been baking for a long time and the quality of these pans are far superior to those I have used in the past. I plan to buy more!

I received two of these cake pans as a gift. I have used other Chicago Metallic pans, and really enjoy using them. They are very heavy duty, and they bake very evenly. I have never had a problem with cakes sticking, and they are manufactured so well, the cake surfaces are always even and ready for decorating. I highly recommend these pans, and other Chicago Metallic products. They are worth a bit more for the long wear and consistent results you will get in using them. Happy Baking!

I really love these pans. They release food well and clean up easily, the only complaint I would have is that they wont fit into each other..so they are hard to store together...

I'd always been afraid to sink real money into baking pans for fear I would find out I'd made the wrong choice. So I made do with inexpensive, tentative choices, and they've been OK. I finally decided to buy "grownup" baking tools to pursue my interest in perfecting my baking talents.
America's Test Kitchens had a list of recommended tools that they heavily researched and these were on the list. I couldn't be happier! They are a nice, heavy weight and fine quality.

I bake cakes all the time, and the pans I inherited from my grandmother were starting to get rusty....... After looking around for a while and reading the product test reviews in Cooks Illustrated, I bought some pans and actually returned them after using -- so many claim that cakes will not stick and then don't live up to their promises. These pans work like a dream, and cakes slide right out. I love the straight sides (I know some people criticize this because it makes storage difficult, but it makes cakes that are so much easier to stack and decorate). Overall very pleased.

I bought the previous version of this cake pan and it worked great. I bought these pans because I needed to be able to make multiple cakes without stopping to clean the pans. When I received them, I was overwhelmed with the appearance and quality of the pans. They are sturdy, well constructed, weighty, and have excellent capacity. I am certain that they will give me good service.

These are the best; you need to look no further. We bought their cookie sheets last year. They are also the best we have ever used. The Chicago brand is not cheaply made so their price may seem high but if your budget can justify the price pull the trigger. Built to last a lifetime in a commercial kitchen you will be able to hand these down to your grand children.

This review is short and sweet. Loved the pans for their baking properties. Ideal for layer cakes. Easy to use, great weight, nice baking results.
The one problem I encountered with this brand that I have not with others is that the pans do not nest into one another for easy storage. Each balances on top of another - not great if your storage space is limited.

I have purchased various Chicago Metallic products from Chefs before, so when I needed new cake pans it was an easy decision. They do cook evenly...no high/low spots. I have great confidence in the release and clean-up is a snap.

Wow was I ever impressed when these pans arrived! I needed cake pans and Chef's offered free shipping. I couldn't go wrong with that. These pans are wonderful. They are heavy and very well made. I'm sure they will be the last cake pans I'll ever have to buy. No more replacing cake pans every year or so with these babies!

These pans are great! Love the heavy duty feel to the pans and they do bake evenly. No need to trim up the cake when making a layer cake. I definately would recommend the pans and they are at a great price!
