I had been searching for a deep fryer for awhile. I was looking for something that was easy to maintain and clean. A device that controlled the temp and was safe to use in a tight busy home kitchen. The DeLonghi Dual Zone Deep Fryer was exactly what I was looking for. It is not complicated to use. It is easy to clean and the spiget to drain should be a standard on all fryers. I am completly satisfied with my purchase.

I want to thank you for such a perfect product that's available to the public. It is designed like the deep fryers I have used in the food industry in the past , just in smaller in size.. I love it! It heats up so fast and keeps its temperature while frying food. I love showing it off to my guests. They can see it's sleek design and always ask what it is. Of course I can't just tell, I have to show too! I make the best french fries in town!

The fryer heats quickly and is cool to the touch on the outside, but the greatest advantage I think, is that it drains the oil and breaks down for cleaning so easily

I recently purchased the DeLonghi deep fryer as a surprise gift for my wife. She was excited as she took it out of the box and saw the obvious quality and safety features. I knew I had bought the right gift when I looked in the kitchen and saw her smiling as she uttered, "this is so awesome." She was amazed at how easy it was to utilize the programming and how thorough the chicken cooked. I could say the best part was at the dinner table, but since this is a product review and not a taste review I'll leave that for another time. When the meal was over the best part of this review materialized -- the cleanup. She simply opened the oil drain spigot and poured the remaining oil back into the carton - no mess - no trouble - and fast. Next, she disengaged the empty oil reservoir and washed it out under a stream of water. It was clean in no time. For all of you dudes out there that want to impress your female's this is the product for you. I'm now referred to as the Fryer Buyer Hero. I'm hoping that nickname evolves into something that I can be more proud of...

I purchased six of these for my children for their Christmas gifts. They were delighted and have not stopped talking about the quality of the food, the ease of use and the quick clean-up. The spigot for draining the used oil is definitely one of the special features of this product. The food cooks quickly with little reheat time and also cooks evenly because of the size. And of course the service from the time of purchase to delivery is always top-notch with Chefs. I have purchased many gifts through your company and will continue to do so in the future. Thanks for a great deal and gift for my children.

First time I ever used a fryer. I have to admit it definately earned it's 5-star rating. The safety features are noteable: it has a magnetic power cord and the heating element must be in place (as instructed) for it to work. The controls are simple enough, however I wish you had the option not to set the timer, which is mandatory for it to start heating. Be advised it takes a good half-gallon of oil so you will want to invest in a club-size bottle. My first use? Breaded onion rings to die for! (I use Drake's Crispy FryMix) Clean-up is a snap except for the basket. I soak it in soapy water a bit then use a bristle brush - (it will tear up your sponges). You can opt to store the oil in the unit, but I preferred to utilize the super-cool spigot feature so I could filter the oil for next time. Oh - and the basket handle folds up quite nicely for storage.

This is a wonderful fryer! The relatively large capacity acts as a large heat-sink that resists the decrease in temperature that can occur in smaller units. The readouts are all accurate and easy to manipulate. The easy drain feature is a BIG plus, as we filter and reuse the oil. Whether you are frying fish or chips, this is a great unit!

The fryer that I purchased is a good fryer, recovery time is fast, quality steel of the fryer is good, strudy, clean able. The only part I don't really like is the magnetic plug. I would much rather had the option to purchase a plug that was wired directly or a conventional plug.

When the fryer arrived we unpacked it and was so pleased with the quality. it is constructed with long term use in mind. The oil drain and ease of cleaning really pleased my wife. It is made of stainless Steel also an easy to read temperature setting. We are very pleased with this fryer and are sure it will fry as well as it is reported. Do Not hesitate to buy this one, you will not be dissipointed.

The thought of having a fryer made me somewhat apprehensive. However, the simple task of frying, followed by the quick and easy clean up was amazing.

Pros - Holds temperature well, easy to use, easy to clean, love the built-in oil spout, much easier to drain than prior models.
Cons - Magnetic cord is easy to pull loose from the fryer, and the cord is pretty short.

Not my first home unit, but replacing an old friend that momma was no longer happy with. The easy of cleanup with the intigrated drain alone makes the unit worth the price. But that is not all, I have never had a unit heat a quickly as this one does, with an even better response to recover after starting the fry. First try was Lola fries (a family fav, momma has eaten at 3 of Chef Symon's establishments), which came out nearly as good as the namesake. Chicken fingers in a light seasoned breading. Outstanding results. If I were purchasing for our adult daughters, each would get one of this unit. With no reservations, the best home unit for the friolator arts yet to hit the market

This fryer is great. I fried some donuts in it and they turned out super. The oil heated quickly and stayed the correct temperature throughout the frying, browning all of the donuts perfectly. I drained my oil after the fryer was cool. No drips!!! and cleanup was a breeze. The donuts were not greasy at all and very little oil was used during the process. There was no odor from frying. Thanks for such quality products. I can always trust my purchases with Chef's.

I love this product. Works great inside and outdoors. I like to put it out on out deck on a small table and use it outside. Keeps deepfry oders outside. Easy to assemble, Heats up very quickly, large fry basket and easy to clean. Have not yet used the drain but seems simple enough. I leave my unit sit outside (even though we get cold weather). I have a covered patio. Works GREAT!
