I can't believe that such a simple tool could be so useful. It's one of the handiest kitchen utensils I've ever had and i use it every time I cook. No matter what I'm doing from chopping onions or garlic, adding minced items to soups to making bread, it is perfect.. It would be a wonderful addition to a basket of gifts for a shower, engagement party or a wedding present and is great birthday gift for anyone who cooks no matter what level.

I was very happy to find one. I had purchased one 15 years ago.... and it had a wood handle that dried out and came off... and we couldnt figure out how to put a handle back on it...?
But this new one has measurements on it.. so no more ruler at the counter ... and is sharper for just cutting up stuff. Pretty cool ! my old one mostly just able to scoop up the stuff on the cutting board... and to scrape the cutting board to get the dried bread dough and flour off it from making bread.
I am very happy !!
off hand... I can't think of anything I am not satisfied with.... Great product. ! and fast delivery !

I've been looking for one of these since my last one disappeared. You'd think a simple product as a bench scraper would be easy to find, well not in my area. This simple kitchen tool feels comfortable in the hand, easy to use and the ruler is a nice added feature. I would recommend this product.

I haven't had an opportunity to use this yet but I really like having measurements on the blade for cookie and other doughs and the handle is extremely comfortable.

This bench scraper is great for picking everything up off the cutting board -- like the image shows. And it's great as a scraper when I make any kind of rolled or kneaded dough. It easily gets off what sticks to the surface of the counter or bread board.

Finally, in one scoop I can scrape all my prepped veggies into the pan.

I used to use one of these years ago when I was the manager of a pizza place in Ca. Called Lord Byron Pizza !! It is such a great handy tool for scraping your board, or using as a third hand to scrap up chopped vegetables.

It turned out to be only half the size I was hoping for. If you have a signigicant amount ot chopped goods to scrape into a cooking pot, such as onion, celery, cabbage, carrot, etc..., it would take multiple repetitions to move it all. I have seen others in stores that were twice as large, but chose this one from the catalog because I have had success with other purchases.
