I can't believe that such a simple tool could be so useful. It's one of the handiest kitchen utensils I've ever had and i use it every time I cook. No matter what I'm doing from chopping onions or garlic, adding minced items to soups to making bread, it is perfect.. It would be a wonderful addition to a basket of gifts for a shower, engagement party or a wedding present and is great birthday gift for anyone who cooks no matter what level.

I used this scraper almost as soon as I received it and I love it. After chopping and chasing the pieces on the board, the scraper eliminates this. I saw the chefs on TV using it so I tried it and love it. Saves time.

Size is great, not too large nor too small. The handle is very comfortable to hold onto. Very sturdy. Use it mainly to carry chopped food into pan, etc.

This little tool does a BIG job on my "Chop-&-Scoope" for stews, pot roast & canning. I also found it handy "scoring" my baklava, trimming pastries. I keep finding more uses everytime I cook. One of the best tools in my kitchen. Thank you.

This Bench knife has become one of my all time favorites. I love to bake bread, and this is a must to clear your kneeding area before and after working with the dough.
Recently, one of my sons wanted to make Pfeffernuse, a Menonite cookie. We were able to roll out the dough into long 'snakes' and cut multiple cookies at one time.

When I received this a few days ago, I immediately tried to chop some onion. It does not appear to be sharp enough for the job. Okay, then I tried to chop some fresh basil. No go ... it basically just shredded the basil by tearing it. As far as I can see, in order to have a scraper that cuts, you would need to have a curved surface that maybe rocks back and forth in order to get the cutting action needed for herbs and vegetables. Guess I'm stuck with using this solely as a scraper.
