Amazing filled pancakes! April 6, 2009
KathCooks from Denver, Colorado

Pros: truly non-stick
Cons: you'll eat too much!

"These are amazing whether you make them sweet or savory. First time we made these I used almond cake & pastry filling blended with apricot filling. Next, we tried them with a savory filling of bacon and cheese. On Easter Sunday, I plan on chopping bananas, frying in a little butter, adding some brown sugar and using that for a filling. I am also anxious to try some apple pie filling, For the sweet version, have a variety of toppings on hand: powdered sugar; syrup; honey; caramel sauce; whipped cream; etc. This pan cleans up like a dream, it is truly non-stick!"

Excellent Pan January 11, 2009
DrGrampa from Oak Harbor, WA

Pros: wonderful non-stick surface
Cons: none

"When traveling to our kids place in Eastern Washington, we often take them all out to breakfast at a restaurant specializing in European faire. We have all loved their aebleskivers, and when I saw this pan on sale, I knew we needed to try it out. We we not disappointed!!

The recipe that came with the pans produced wonderful aebleskivers and the pans worked flawlessly. I was not aware that making aebleskivers was such an affair, but our grandaughter loved standing on a chair next to the stove and "helping" Grandpa by spooning the batter into the pan. We bought three of these pans (one for each family), and I know that we will enjoy this breakfast treat for years to come."

Makes Saturday Breakfast a Special Breakfast! January 9, 2009
touixmuch from Seattle, WA

"My family has come to love Saturday morning Aebleskivers. I have used several different fillings--fresh fruit, jam, and brown sugar/butter/cinnamon. They are all delicious. They are quick and easy, but I'm thinking of buying another pan so I can whip them out twice as fast. They are best eaten when fresh from the pan. (They take just a little practice, but worth the patience. Besides, even goofs taste great!)"

"I always like to get the most use out of my pans and I make traditional Danish aebleskiver, but also like to use my pan for any type of batter dough mix. For instance cornbread stuffed with green chiles and cheese, any batter and combination of cheeses, sauces and herbs will work. I have also made brownie mix and put cream cheese and cherries in the middle, the possibilities are endless. I have bought several as gifts for friends and they have recommended them to their friends also."

Now ordering more for gifts. September 24, 2008
Brett from Boyds, MD

"I have had this pan for a few days now, and I have made a dozen recipes of Aebleskivers. The included recipe is so simple and be modified for a savory Aebleskivers or sweeter for more of a dessert or breakfast Aebleskiver. Anything that you can think of your would stuff a crêpe with can go in Aebleskiver itself. They are great with any course of the meal or time of day. As breakfast, as hors d'œuvre, as an entrée, or dessert they are wonderful! Think creatively marinated chicken chunks, Raspberry -Cheese Aebleskivers (raspberry preserves, chopped pecans, sliced green onions, and Muenster or baby Swiss), fresh fruit, or chocolate chips and marshmallows (s'mores), or just a dollop of crème fraîche are all great. Best items used to turn the Aebleskivers over and not scratch the pan is a set of chop sticks."
