It's a Toy December 18, 2008

Pros: looks like a miniature version of the “real thing”
Cons: the electrical cord comes loose, has no warming feature to keep the popcorn hot

"I do not know what I was thinking when I bought this machine, I guess the picture looked good! At any rate the front door is not glass, but is made from Plexiglas. During transit, the additional parts of the machine (shipped inside) came in contact with the door and severe scratching and gouges occurred. The electrical cord which connects the electrical power to the cooking pot will vibrate loose during the “popping” process. The result is there will be just enough current passing to power the pot’s rotation, but there is not enough “juice” for the pot to heat enough to make the “popcorn”. On this unit, this electrical cord must be checked after each batch to insure it is fully inserted into the receptacle. Further, the batches of popcorn are very small that it takes several bunches if there are very many people waiting for the results!"
