Tired of warm cookies slumping through the wires on your cooling racks? These grids are the answer. Nicely constructed, easy to use and store, and dishwasher safe. Our old, flimsy racks have been retired in favor of these cooling grids.

I have very old, well-loved cookie sheets and needed a grid that would fit their smaller size. This worked out perfectly. I use this grid more for broiling purposes than as a cooling rack, but it's sturdy enough for most any task.

We actually use these grids more often for cooking frozen items in oven that normally require turning (fish patties, fries, etc.). Food is not sitting in grease while cooking, no turning is needed. (To clean, fill the baking [jelly roll] pan with hot sudsy water, flip the grid upside-down in the pan, and let soak before brushing away food debris.) We store the grids in the pans.
Pros: even cooking, multi-purpose, Performs Well, Functional/Useful

I feel that these are well worth the money. the onlydraw back is that I wish that they were both the same size but the big and smaller ones are okay. But I prefer the large one for baking cookies works great. They are good for keeping the cookies from getting too brown and crispy.
Expecially if you are using the dark cookie sheets and clean up is a breeze just load into the dishwasher and bam done. they are great.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: Chicken, beef or vegetable stock

I don't know how I got along without these cooling grids for so many years - they're the best purchase I could have made to support all the baking I do! They cool cookies and breads quickly, wash beautifully, and store easily - they take up practically no space. I highly recommend them, especially if you do a lot of baking. I even used one of them when I was making chicken satays (make sure to soak them for easier clean-up).

Cooks Bacon Effortlessly

Using these cooling grids are a given for an easy way to cool cakes and cookies, but the greatest usage for me is to cook bacon. I place the grid in a jelly roll pan, place the bacon strips on the grid, slip it in the oven at 350 degrees and in about 20 minutes I find perfectly cooked bacon with no spattering grease to clean up. The drippings are all in the pan and there is no smoke or grease splatters to deal with and not the constant turning of each piece to evenly cook. It was a dream come true!

Best cooling racks I have purchased

I love these racks! While the racks are great for cooling cookies and cakes or other baked goods, the racks are non-stick so, they are great for baking other foods, like grilling vegetables, pork chops, beef, ribs and baked chicken. The racks are raised 1/2 inch off the baking pan, so your foods like baked chicken are not cooking in a lot of oil. It's the way to go for healthy eating. These racks fit inside Chicago Metallic baking pans or jelly roll pans.

real fine product. Fits well on cooking sheet, and was non stick. I am keeping them out of the dishwasher just to be careful, and don't use this item often. My wife and i both cook, and have completely been happy with the cooling racks so far.

Uses other than as cooling racks

I bought this rack to heat/re-heat foods that came prepared. That is, I find it useful to leave some space between the food and the baking sheet to prevent over-heating at the bottom of the food container. It is designed to fit just right for a medium or large jelly roll pan, however, its size doesn't fit other baking pans that have a deeper depth. But, I know this before I made the purchase. Although, I am using the rack other than its intended design, but, it still deliver what I need.

I purchased 2 of these grids to fit my 1/2 sheet pans that I use constantly. Specifically, I intend to use them to bake bacon in the oven and to hold pretzels rods after dipping in chocolate. They fit my pans perfectly. They'll be used a lot.
