I cannot say enough about this dinnerware set. They make everything elegant! But not only do they look great - they are very thick and sturdy, and even have feet under each plate as not to put undue stress on them when stacked.I don't use the coffee cups much, but the saucers are versatile and can be used as tapas plates, or dipping plates. Great product! If I had known, I would have ordered the double set from the beginning.

I've been searching for the perfect dinnerware for what it seemed like forever, until I purchased these. Wow what a difference it makes to serve food on simple but very elegant dinnerware. These plates can transform even a sandwhich into an upscale dining experience. Everybody that I have cooked for since purchasing this set has inquired as to where I found them. It's impossible for food to look bad on these plates!

I was really excited when I found this dinnerware set on sale, because it was a plain color that would match my dining area and seemed very durable. I absolutely love this set because it is so unique and stylish and very durable. I like the subtle white color because it adds elegance when I use it at dinner parties, but it is also great for everyday ware. I love the unique shape of the plates, I use them all the time for dinner and they are the perfect size. The white color is great because they will match any table setting. For a great dinner presentation, you can use lots of colorful food and centerpieces. This set is a great investment and the perfect way to add style to dinnertime.

The dishes are just great and food looks so appetizing on them. I have only one complaint and that is that the coffee cups are too small for coffee from the Keurig coffeemaker. Even when the coffee maker is set for small cups, they are still too small. Other than that issue the dishes are perfect. What can be done about the coffee cups?

Chefs, I had nothing to lose. The price was awesome and free shipping to boot! Packaged with care I took it all out and threw it all in the dishwasher "very sturdy" and I used it the same day. I have wanted dishes like this for some time. Every time I watch a cooking show on TV where they use squares, I want them a little more. I'm in the process of replacing most things in my kitchen so square dishes was one of my first purchases. I looked at many sets at many stores but Chef's had the best dishes for the best price and were highly recommended by other buyers. That made them the ones to buy and I am so glad I did. They are beautiful.

I debated buying this dinnerware set for a long time. I wanted something durable, functional, and another shape besides round. These dishes are better than I thought, even after reading the other ratings and reviews.
The dishes are heavier than I thought they would be, but are so versatile. I plan to use the saucers for the cups as snack plates, since they are usually under-utilized, otherwise. The bowls are big enough to use for side dishes, as well as for fruit or cereal. I would absolutely buy this set again.

These are beautiful, quality dishes. Good and heavy with great porportions. If, however, you're buying these to match other white dinnerware, be careful, as they are not a white-white. They are white (vs. ivory), but not a bright white. If I didn't have brighter white service pieces that I needed to use with this dinnerwear, they'd be perfect. Unfortunately, I can't use them with my current serving bowls, etc. because of the color. It looks more off-white/ivory next to the white I own. Too bad!!

Union Square Dinnerware is absolutely the best for both casual and formal dining. There is rarely formal dining in the Central Valley of California; however, the dinnerware can be used indoors as well as in a patio or sunroom area. The products are of good style and made with simplicity and strength. This is a great addition to my mismatched hodgepodge dinnerware that I broke on my tile kitchen floor. With hardwood floors very near in the future, I am so glad I made the choice of Union Square Dinnerware.

I love the square dishes; the size is right and they have a nice weight to them. We are using them for "everyday" dishes but the square shape gives them a dressed-up flair. The saucers are also great for desserts. The shape is also very good at keeping sauces/gravy on the plate. We are very pleased.

This set is beatiful. However, I am still waiting for the replacement for the broken broken bowl, which I called about immediately on the arrival of the packages. Hope to get it before Thanksgiving.
The set seemed quite sturdy and was packed well, and the broken bowl was in the center, so I cannot understand that the piece was broken in transit. Is this quality control, that is, was the bowl broken before it was packed?

Appearance-wise, these dishes will make you proud. They're nice for either casual dining or for slightly formal dinners with friends or family. However, I was a little disappointed when entertaining friends recently that the salad plates kept trying to slip off our dinner plates as we ate our second course. I would have preferred the plates were a little heavier. Otherwise, I would have given this item 5 stars.
