This is an excellent product. The design with its straight sides makes removal of the bag very easy.
I particularly like the double filter feature. There is absolutely no odor and no fruit flies. I purchased the 1 gallon size and it is most adequate for our family.

It is only 1 gal. which is perfect for the countertop, it weighs less and the stainless steel is durable and easy to clean. The handle makes it easy to lift. I use a biodegradable plastic bag that keeps the interior clean and is easy to dump into the compost bin or trash. The filters keep it oderless and I use my garbage disposal less often now.

This is a great compost pail. It looks good sitting in the kitchen. It works great. No odors. Since the biodegradable bags were 6 qts, I got the bigger pail. The quality is very good.

I've been using the 5 qt plastic Ice Cream tubs with snap on lids for composting for years, This has absolutely replaced them. Its easily utilized with one hand, doesn't, retain/omit odors, and looks classy on my counter. I can't believe it took so long for me to find this. One piece stamped construction- no sharp corners to dig food out of! I cannot say enough about how great this item is.

I really wanted to compost but when our local recycling company provided a brown plastic pail with a lid, I found it too yucky (ugly, I guess...) to keep on my nice kitchen counters. I tried keeping it under the sink but found that with "goopy" hands it was inconvenient to open the cupboards...etc. and it was smelly and needed washing every time I emptied it. So, I stopped composting. After seeing this pretty stainless pail, my problems were solved. It really is odor free, and it looks nice on the counter. I bought the biodegradable liners which keeps it fairly clean. Several friends have seen and purchased it, and I even bought one for a girlfriend for her birthday! I'm happy to say that I am a happy composter now. It's worth the $$.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my parents, because they like to keep their food scraps in a plastic bag for later use as compost in their garden. Unfortunately, after a period of time, fruit flies start to appear in their kitchen and the stench starts to become noticeable. After I gave this to them, they used it right away and have been using it non-stop. I guess it must work very well.

I am so glad I purchase this compost container, we use to have a srap bend I did not like it because it did not have a top to it. This compost container is first class all the way! I purchased the gal 1/2 size and I love it. When I cook cabbage I have plenty of room for the waste. Thank you chefs for this wonderful product. (Late bloomer)

The Odor-Free Countertop Composter is an important element in our composting set-up. This one and a half gallon stainless steel container replaces a one galon ceramic container that was broken. The increased capacity means fewer trips to the composting bin outside.

The countertop composter container is great. I got one for my kitchen and one for my daughter . The carbon filters get rid of the odor and the fruit flies. I use the biodegradable bags to keep the container clean and make disposal easy.

I recycle kitchen veggie and fruit scraps. We keep a container next to the cutting board on the counter. We've always emptied it promptly, but just couldn't get rid of gnats. Very annoying. Also, the banana peels would get smelly after a couple hours. It didn't matter what we kept it covered. Now, the smell is gone as are the gnats. What a great addition to the kitchen. We no longer have to dump daily and clean the container as the odor-free countertop compost container's biodegradable bags and charcoal filter keep the kitchen odor and mess free.

I purchased this bucket as a replacement for a bamboo bucket that literally fell apart after a few years use. I believe that this bucket will hold up forever. The biodegradable compost bags are an absolute must with this bucket because it has no liner.

I knew that my wife wanted one of these, so I ordered one for a Christmas gift. The device was offered in two different sizes so, sport that I am, opted for the larger of the two. She loved it but it hogged too much counter space...I hope all goes well with the exchange process for the smaller one!

This is so much better than the plastic bowl I was using...no smell, no mess, easy clean-up. I do wish it came in a little smaller size to sit on the counter.

This is a great idea, I used to keep my scraps in a bowl on the counter before putting in my garden it was pretty gross. Now it looks like a great addition to my kitchen and no one knows what it is just that its "Pretty"

I prepare food from scratch every day and we just began gardening so it makes sense to save the scraps. I was saving them in produce bags--yuk! This container looks SO nice on the counter. And we can dispose of the refuse bags when they're full. Charcoal filters fit in the lid so there's NO odor. I love it. I was put off by the expense but it was worth it. The bags that fit inside hold up well and then are biodegradable later in your composter.
