"I got this about 2 weeks ago and I am very happy with it! You can set the water temperature you need and it shuts off automatically when it is reached. You always know the temperature before you pour. The instruction book tells you what temperatures are best for different kinds of tea. I really like the fact that when you pick up the kettle there is no cord to deal with. And, the length of cord that you don't need is hidden under the base. This makes for a nice and neat counter."

"Fabulous! I have had others that would not heat water hot enough at the 7,000 ft. altitude of my home. This one does! The electronic on-off button is a big improvement over the mechanical lever on others that I've had that broke. The only drawback is the attached lid that I think may be the weak spot. I've had this a month and think it is by far the best on the market.. Worth the extra price."

Pros: choice of temperatures Cons: noise reminders take adjustment
"I gave this as a gift, as it offers variable temperatures. for tea drinkers it offers temperatures for a perfect brew. My sister has enjoyed this upgrade in electric kettles, but is a bit annoyed at the sounds it reaches to let you know it as temperature or holding temperature, or turning off. She says she is getting used to the sounds, and loves efficency of kettle."

Pros: no cord attached to pot., very fast., variable temperature. Cons: lid restricts access somewhat for washing it out.
"I never thought I would be writing a review of a product that is dedicated to heat water, but....I purchased one of these for my son and for my wife and we all love this pot! I love the fact that the pot lifts off of the base and the base stays plugged into the wall all the time. It is so much faster than heating water on the stove top."

Pros: preset to your temperature, temperature hold, low water alert
"We spent the last two years living in Athens, Greece and an integral part of the kitchen was a similar pot. We used it so often we were determined to find one when we came home. This one is absolutely perfect. It's heads and shoulders over the one we had in Greece. It's fast and accurate, lets you decide the temperature of the water. We use it several times each day and wonder how we managed without it!! You won't be disappointed if you buy this pot!"
