When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Self-proclaimed Gourmet
Great for pealing potatoes! Waste is minimal and it is very easy to use. Much quicker than pealing with knife. I have not tried on anything else yet but I'm sure it will work just fine.
Pros: construction, multi-purpose, Easy to Clean/Wash, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful
I peeled potatoes yesterday with this and I have NEVER had a peeler that felt like I was cutting through water--it is that good! In addition, it was extremely comfortable in my hand.
I bought this for myself. It is a great peeler, very sharp and easy to hold. I've used it to peel apples, potatoes, and eggplant. It worked well on each one. Only thing, I find the dial a little hard to turn. I hold on to the blade section and turn it that way. I'm hoping this will not be a problem. Other than that I love it.
Pros: easy to use, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful

This is my second ceramic peeler from Chefs. The ceramic blade of the first broke after a year or so. While I have found this to be the sharpest peeler I have ever purchased, and one of the easiest peelers to use,(hence my reason for purchasing a replacement), care must be used when peeling very tought items. Don't .. I broke the ceramic blade on my first one trying to peel a very tough butternut squash... For other vegtables such as potatoes, carrots, yams etc this peeler makes peeling seem effortless as it glides through those better than any 'steel' peeler I have ever purchased... Being able to move the blade is also nice feature.
Pros: Material, easy to use, construction, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful

The cutter is very sharp for peeling. There is no way to remove the eyes or spots from the potatoes. Works well otherwise.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, easy to use, Performs Well, very sharp and peels well.
Cons: no cutter to remove potato eyes

I did previously submit a review of Kyocera peeler that was largly negative. Having used it for the past several months I have changed my mind, or actually the peeler changed it for me. It is much sharper than my first experience, can only guess it needs a whetting like a barbers razor (use) to shine. Still needs a device to dig out the eyes though.
Pros: Functional/Useful

Works wonderfuly almost all the time. If there is an irregularity in what you are peeling, especially an indentation, you have to be more creative in dealing with it then a traditional peeler. It is extreamly sharp, uniderectional cutting tool that seems to cut time peeling time down.
