I bought these knives for a wedding gift. Westhof knives are a quality product that will last a lifetime -German Steel and ergonomically designed. I have had a set for 25 years now.

I brought these knives as a gift to self to take my cooking to the next level. I love these knives. They are very light-weight which was suprising to me. I was use to my Chicago cultery knives that were steel through the handle. They cut with extreme precision. I ordered an extra knife to go in the block and a end grain board.

My husband and I appreciate a good knife and the Wustof 10 piece set will probably be the last set we will need to buy. We have tried other high quality name brands and the Wustof are our favorite. Best of all...we got them at a great price!

There is no comparison between Wusthof knives and others on the market. The investment is worth every penny. They deliver great, great value for the money you spend. These knives will outlast me! Both of my married sons look forward to me adding to their collection of Wusthof knives every Christmas.

My wife and I received these knives as a wedding gift. I do most of the cooking and this was my first "real" set of knives. I previously worked from my hodge-podge collection of bachelor's-grade cutlery. Most of which was hand-me-downs.
These knives are remarkably sharper then what I was previously used to. For the first time I felt like I had the tools to prepare meals similar to what I would see on a cooking show. They hold an edge quite well. I received a Wustoff Ikon sharpener this Christmas and gave the knives their first real sharpening, about 14 months after first using them. Most only required a light honing of the blade. I am thrilled with this set and added a butcher's knife to the block along with the steak knives. No more serrated knives to tear my meat apart! Highly recommended to anybody looking to make a kitchen investment that will pay off for years to come.

I received this product for Christimas and put it to work immediately. I used the knives all Christmas Day and throughout the rest of the holiday season. The Wusthof set held a sharp edge that is so important when cooking. I recently had to use the knife sharpner to to put an edge back on. I am a serious home cook and use my knives every day. This was the best Christmas gift my family could have purchased for me.

I've always liked to cook, but for many years I struggled with cheap knives. Then my husband gave me a set of Wusthof knives for Christmas a few years ago and cooking became a joy. I gifted this set to my aunt and uncle who didn't even own a chef knife. This set contains a knife for every purpose, and they all got used this Christmas preparing dinner for all 28 of my relatives. Handles are comfortable to hold, and edges stay sharp. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a good basic set.

These were a gift for my son. He was so pleased and excited. He loves to cook and knows how nice Wustoff knives are. I was delighted with the price offered be Chefs! The set was missing one knife but I have contacted Chefs about a replacement. Great price!
