The Henckel Knives are very sharp. The one I use most often is the 5" hollow, good grip and chops great. The Utility knife is great for small fruit and tomatoes for thin slices. The bread knife does not mash the bread down when cutting a fresh loaf. The 8" chef's knife is great for Butterflying Chicken Breast. I look for any excuse to cut something. I no longer need my husband to cut a raw squash..." I love them!".

These knives were a birthday present from my husband. I really needed a good set of quality knives and these are it. The ergonomic handles are a big plus with my artheritis. If you're looking for a great quality set of knives that are easy to handle and will be durable, you can't go wrong with these. Henckels have always been a quality product.

This is the most expensive knives I have ever owned band they are worth every dime I spent. My last knives had to be sharpened for every use and never had an edge like these knives have. Cutting and cHopping is no longer a chore and the weight is very comfortable when using, I just wish I could afford a more expensive set just to see how much better these knives could be

These knives represent a good medium value for the world standard of good kitchen cutlery. While not the "top of the line" for Henckels, they are consistent with the high standard that this manufacturer is known for.
The versatility of the set is perfect for my uses. I occasionally prepare good sized meals for friends on special occasions and having the right tools makes the experience even better. Many of my friends get wide-eyed when the use them and immediately ask about them. Some know the Henckels name but have never used them. More than a few of my friends have bought them or intend to.

The knives were of good quality and were very sharp. I feel like cooking everyday now. They were worth the price I got them for. I received the knife set for Christmas. Now I am planning to make some more purchases from Chefs Catalog.

Since using this set at my brother's home I've suffered from a serious case of knife envy. I've been shopping for the set ever since and found it on the Chef's site. AND....it was the best price of all sites visited, especially with the Bing rebate. You will love these knives and be careful not to cut yourself!

WHY did I wait so long to replace all those terrible knives I had? With the sale price at Chef's, I couldn't resist. My son owns these knives and loves them. Each time I use them, the task at hand is so easy. Buy these, you won't be disappointed.

I have had these knives for 3 years now and they are just getting to the place where they need to be professionally sharpened. I use them daily and use the sharpening steel regularly. They are the best knives I've ever owned

I had purchased this set because of the recommendations from my friend. I was getting the set of chefs knives for my culinary schooling. After receiving the knives I liked the feel of the handle and the sharpness of the blade. My first day of class the chef gave out 3 piece set of Henckels that was just like mine. The chef was impressed with the set that I had purchased.

I had waited a LONG time to get a set of Henckels cutlery, and when I saw the price at the time I bought these, I couldn't resist. I have had them for 3 days and used 4 of the knives. They are all that you would expect from them in weight, balance, sharpness, and maneuverability.
