We love this mat. It was what we were hoping for but not really expecting. I actually thought I would try it out and return it. But to our surprise it really is comfy, very good quality and it stays put. My husband has Rheumatoid Arthritis and complained about his feet and lower back hurting so much when he is cooking. I bought it for him and it has helped him tremendously, but I enjoy it as much as he does.

This is the second Gel Pro mat I have ordered from Chef's Catalog. I really like the product for relieving leg and back fatigue experienced standing on my bare ceramic tile floor. Time will tell if I like the newly designed edge which is rather soft and thin. The previous mat I ordered has a much sturdier edge, and shows no signs of wear.

This is our 4th mat and we love this new size - sure wish the whole world were covered in this, I can actually go barefoot again on these terrific mats ! For anyone with arthritis, neuropathy, or any kind of back, leg and foot problems, this is a gift from above ! Yes, they're a bit pricey, but oh, so worth it !
My Favorite BrandGel Pro , the original and the best !

The product arrived quickly. It is not as stylish as I had hoped, but it is under a carpet at the sink, so it really doesn't matter. It is quite comfortable. I hope it lasts a long, long time.

I PURCHASED A GEL PRO BASKET WEAVE DESIGN MAT A FEW WEEKS AGO FOR MY MOTHER FOR CHRISTMAS AFTER LISTENING TO HER ABOUT HER ACHING FEET I FELT SORRY FOR AND GAVE IT TO HER EARLY. AFTER I STEPPED ON IT MYSELF I ORDERED ANOTHER ONE FOR MYSELF.

This has been very beneficial for my feet. The older I get the more help I need standing in one place cutting and chopping. Gel Pro has been a life savior. I do recommend this product. I do like the black color of the mats and glad I made the right color choice.

love the mats! for a person in pain from arthritis standing on these for periods of time at the stove and sink actually makes your pain better! a joy when you are stirring caramels and fudge. great for doing all the dishes after!!! lovem! color great!

I first purchased this mat because it stayed put. My son was worried we would trip on the cloth mat I used previously in the Kitchen. I then discovered how good this felt to stand on. I now have 2 in my kitchen, and 3 in my bathrooms. In addition, I have a daughter with foot problems, and she now has 2 in her kitchen, which we purchased as Christmas presents. She tells us this is one of the best gifts she ever received. Our family highly recommends these mats, and your tired legs and feet will thank you every time you step on one of these mats.

I had purchased these mats for my kitchen several months ago and just loved them. These mats were purchased for the pizza prep area as well as the oven and sink area for our pizza parlor. The workers said their legs and back used to bother them after several hours at work but after we received these mats they saw a great improvement in the way their legs and back felt at the end of the day. Thank you for a great product.

My husband gave me this for Christmas and I love it. It helps my back so much. I wish my whole kitchen floor could be like this. It makes standing at the counter so much more comfortable, I wish we had gotten one years ago.

I bought my daughter-in-law a couple of gel mats for Christmas a couple of years ago. She has back problems sometimes and I thought they might help her. She also has concrete floor with tile. What a difference these make!. She has one in front of her stove and the other she moves from the sink to the counter top so I guess she needs another. Anyway, more people should have them.

I purchased two 3' items for my Mother for Mother's Day. She LOVES them! She placed them side by side in her kitchen and I commented that a 6' would've been more appropriate, but she was happy with the 3' items because they are heavy. She would not be able to easily move the mats to clean under them, if she had the 6' mat.
Standing on these mats are heaven, just as advertised. And, because they are heavy, will not trip her as the edges lay flat against the floor.
The only disappointment was that gift wrapping was offered as an option at check out, but they cannot be wrapped and arrived in their boxes. Gift cards were put in each box.

These mats are THE BEST. I am amazed at how my legs and back do not ache after hours at the counter and stove...I am going to give these as gifts to my sisters ...who are all gourmet "chefs".

For Christmas 2008, I gave my TEN children two GEL MATS each, and of course I gave myself two also. They are a big hit for all. I've had achy feet for a long time (too much cooking), now I have some relief. I recommend everyone who spends time in the kitchen should have these mats. They're the greatest.
