I bought one of these for myself to keep home grown herbs in and loved it so I got more for daughter in-law gifts. Can't imagine a kitchen without one now!

I just got the Herb Keeper and I must say I am impressed. I washed it first and followed directions as to how much water to add, put in the parsley and so far it has been in there for about one and one-half weeks. I just get out what I need and close it back up. When you buy fresh herbs, they usually come in a bunch and this time they came in a kinda large bunch so I had to put some in the keeper and the other in a glass container with water. But it all are working out fine. As I use the ones from the Herb Keeper, I add to the Keeper from the glass container. I was having problems with parsley wilting before I can use it but now, no more problems with that.

The 'herb keeper' sits on my kitchen counter every day now. I purchase fresh herbs weekly from an artisanal market and can now have them fresh daily for chopping and storage with no 'waste' and the freshest flavors and aromas. My home herb garden will now expand with the use of this product. I've given one to a favorite gourmand and he 'loves it' - I will purchase more as gifts this year!

The "Herb Saver" is a herb saver! Every time I buy fresh herbs I had been putting them in a glass with some water but it never seemed to work. Perhaps this does because it has a measured amount of water and a sealed cap. Whatever, it works!

I love this product because I used to buy/grow fresh herbs and within a very short time, they would wilt in a very short time. Now they stay fresh longer and I'm not thowing money in the trash.

i purchased two herb keepers. one for myself and one for my daughter for christmas. i bought some herbs so i could try the keeper. usually they don't last more than 3 days in my fridge. i have had basil and mint in the keeper for a week now. i am very pleased. thank you for a good product!

I have tried many ways to keep herbs fresh once I cut them from my garden, but this is by far the best. The herbs are just like they were fresh picked, even after 2 weeks.

This really does extend the life of herbs considerably. How nice to get all the way through a bunch of cilantro without throwing half of it away!
One note: the instructions tell you to not refrigerate thin leafed herbs like cilantro and flat parsley, and to just leave the herbs in water on the counter. I found that this way did not work to extend freshness. I would advise placing the container in the fridge no matter what herbs you place in there, and you will get great results..

I have no idea why this works (science was never my strong suit), but this little gizmo has at least doubled the shelf-life of my herbs. It's especially great with leafy, temperamental plants like cilantro and basil. I used to waste at least half the cilantro I bought, because it wilted and rotted before I could use it all. Not any more. And it takes up no more room in the fridge than a medium-size soda bottle. I just bought a second one.

I got 2 of these and immediately filled one with Italian parsley and the other with fresh asparagus. I like the convenience of pulling fresh herbs out of this pretty and functional container. They fit in my fridge and actually have kept these greens fresh for more than 2 weeks now. I'm ordering more.

I've only had this a short time, but it seems to work. I bought parsly, followed the instructions, and put the keeper in the frig. Parsley still looks great! Yeah, I hated buying fresh herbs and then have them go bad unless I used them that day.

Using a great deal of Cilantro in the southwest cooking I do, my cilantro was always turning black and unusable in a bag in the crisper drawer, this keeps it fresh to the last sprig!

This is only a tall plastic bottle with a tight cap, and the cap you don't use with delicate herbs like basil. Buy a cheap pitcher with a cover and you can accomplish the same thing. This jar is also narrow, and you are not suppose to crowd the herbs in it, so it should have at least been made wider in diameter. Maybe it is good for smaller leafed herbs, but I haven't tried it for them to dat.

I am very happy with this product. It really works. I was about to toss away some old mint I found in the back of the fridge. Instead I place it in the herb keeper. In no time at all, it was back to life and ready to use. However, I did find this product a bit expensive.

I love this Herb Keeper, it keeps the Asparagus perfectly and really does keep it from wilting, very easy to use and just the right size for different types of herbs as well. Very glad I purchased this one.

Well, it does what it says and it looks like it is pictured so I'm not sure why I'm a little disappointed. I guess I was hoping for a little more magic in preserving my herbs. Also, if you get a big bunch of herbs you probably won't be able to fit the whole bunch. Maybe its just that I think a tall glass of water would serve the same purpose.

I use a lot of herbs in my cooking as a vegetarian. It's frustrating to loose so many to hot/cold spots in the fridge as well as poor storage. This simple product preserves the herbs in a nicely sized container that fits in the door for optimal temperature.

In the past I've tried many ways to keep herbs and certain vegetables at their peak freshness with little success. This herb keeper is the answer to my problems. I use it to keep all my herbs fresh and longer lasting and vegetables such as asparagus stay fresh until I'm ready to cook them. Its shape allows more space in the refrigerator and I can keep an eye on the condition of its contents through the clear plastic. It's easy to take apart to add water or clean. I've given it as gifts to my family because I like to share good things that work.
