The "Never Burn" Sauce Pot

The "Never Burn" Sauce Pot : With all of today's advances in science and technology, there had to be a better way to prevent overcooking and burning when cooking sauces and chowders. With that idea in mind, The Perfect Sauce and Chowder Pot developed by Pauli Cookware was born. Utilizing advanced kitchen science, and more than two years of research, development and testing, its high-end design begins with its thick, 1.2 mm outer layer of stainless steel. From there, alternating layers of steel and aluminum encase what may be the biggest advance in home cooking since the microwave - a hidden layer of silicon oil that ensures an even cooking temperature, every time. Hermetically sealed for 100% safety, this hidden layer distributes heat evenly, cooking the contents of the pot at a steady pace. The result - A sauce and chowder pot that you never have to stir! The "Never Burn" Sauce Pot by Pauli Cookware removes much of the work and risk of burning or scorching pasta sauce, chili, chowders or stews. Constructed of commercial-grade stainless-steel. Tempered glass lid keeps flavors in. Heat-resistant handles. CHEFS signature collection of professional-grade kitchen tools, cookware, bakeware, dinnerware and more, is available only at CHEFS Catalog. We cook on a propane gas stove which is harder to control the flame. This stockpot makes the best cioppino ever with no scorches on the bottom. The glass lid is perfect for peaking to see it the clams have popped open yet without letting all the good aroma out.

This is an amazing pot. I was inundated with tomatoes this growing season and this pot was in use for hours a day, every day, making tomato sauce, tomato jam and whatever else I could concoct. It never scorched or burned and I never had to worry about it as it was left unattended for long periods.
The only thing that kept this pot from getting five stars was the very steep price. If you can afford it, buy it!

About 6 months ago, we bought a "never burn" pot, and found out it was exactly as advertised. Have never burned a thing in it. We like it so much, my wife and I decided to buy another. Now we have two "never burn" pots. Not only do we consider these pots indispensible for cooking, they are the easiest pots to clean - no residue - cleans as easy as any stick free pot. We couldn't do without them.

We have an old family soup recipe with lots of tomatoes, vegetables and beef. It must cook in several stages over most of a day. In the past it has been necessary to stay in the kitchen to keep stirring the pot to keep it from sticking. NOT WITH THIS ONE!!! We made the soup the next day after receiving it. What a deal.

I was very skeptical about claims for "no burning or sticking" but this is one product that delivers. The wfe has tried it with tomato sauce, collard greens, and the worst of the worst, oyster stew. Nothing sticks. We like it so much that we bought one for our daughter. It has become the "go to" pot for both families.

Used it twice so far and I am really pleased. I usually scorch the bottom of my spaghetti sauce when I don't pay attention. Not this time. It is a heavy pot and I do wish they made a smaller one. Overall I love it. I bought one for my daughter-in-law for Christmas. I do recommend buying the stainless steel cleaner. It really works at keeping it new looking.

I was lucky enough to recieve this fabulous pot as a gift. I am a huge sauce and soup cook and this is the pot that anyone who makes either soup or sauce must have. In the past cooking pea soup meant spending a long time scrubbing the pot, not with this pot. There is no need to stir while the soup is cooking and clean up is a breeze. This large capacity pot is a must have in all kitchens.

I am anxious to use the pot but have only used it for preparing corn and potatoes. It is a large and very heavy pot. I look forward to making spaghetti sauce next week.

This past Christmas, my 26 year old son gave me a beautiful set of All-Clad cookware. I was so excited that I completely cleaned out my kitchen cabinets and gave away most of my old cookware. One of the things that I gave away was a very large iron and aluminum 12qts stew/sauce pot that I've had for about 15 years. It had been a major player in my kitchen and I just decided I was going to replace it. Easier said than done. For 2 months, I visited about every cookstore in Seattle area looking for a replacement. No luck! I was starting to freakout because superbowl was coming and I had about 26 guest coming over for my famous Gumbo and I had no pot big enough to cook it. The only things that I had were large Stockpots that tends to burn the sauce on the bottom. A friend in a Bellevue housewares store suggested that I look on the "Chef" website and checkout this pot, The pot turned out to be a dream come true. I am well known among friends and family as "The Cook". I am skeptical about ordering critical items on line without having seen or held them, but I took a chance out of desperation and I am so glad that I did. Less that 10% of the things I buy get a 5 star rating because I am really picky. I would give this pot a 6 if I could. Love it! Worth every penny!

I bought this as a gift for my wife. The price seemed a little high but after receiving it we are both very happy. The pot is very well made/constructed. The handles have a non slip which is nice and do not get hot. It is heavy to lift especially with food in it and it is difficult for my wife to wash it since it's so heavy. I am glad to help her. Just to be clear this is not a non stick pot. Our daughter is looking forward to getting one of her own!

I have been making Italian gravy for 50 years.
This make it so much easier. I don't have to
check on it every few minutes to make sure it
is doing O K. This pan is exceptional in my book.
My mother would have loved this pan.

I can cook angel hair pasta perfect, no raging boiling water to go through to sample cooking progress. Works Great on my induction burner. I put some meat balls and sliced onion and a can of spagetti sauce total height about 2" deep. Put the burner on 3 and let it go for about 45 Minutes. It Bubbled, came out perfectly, and CLEANED UP WITH A PAPER TOWEL! Awsome product.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my fiance, who is an excellent cook. He had seen it in the Chefs catalog and mentioned that he would love to have it, if only it wasn't so expensive. I "borrowed" it to make Hoppin' John for our traditional New Year's Day dinner, and for the first time ever, I didn't have to spend hours babysitting the pot as it cooked. I literally did not stir the pot once, and there was no sticking or scorching as in years past. Cleanup was easy, too. I am a firm believer that you will never regret purchasing top quality kitchen equipment. Yes, this pot is expensive, but it, (and he) are worth it.

The pot is a good heavy pan and it does not burn. I did make a dish it the pan that included cheese in the ingredients. I did not want to take a chance on burning or scorching the cheese so I used my Never Burn pot. The cheese did not burn but the cleanup on the pan was tedious and time consuming. I had to soak, scrape, and use an SOS pad to finally get the stuck on cheese off the bottom of the pan. Just remember that the never burn promise does not mean that ingredients will not stick to the bottom unless the dish has lots of liquid.

I fell asleep cooking a large amount of soup on medium heat and when I awoke my soup was burned to the bottom of the pan. So never never means never! A day of soaking and another day of scrubbing and I'm able to continue to use the pan again, but now I always cook on low. The pan is too big and heavy to attempt to fit it in my cupboards without displacing others, so it sits on the stove top. Since I enjoy making soups, this pan is great despite its faults. Remember, never never means never!

I saw this pot last year & read about it to my husband who said: "Buy it, already!" I said "no pot is worth that much money" But, during the summer food prep system, I manages ti burn the bottom of 3 batches of tomato sauce & 2 batches of apple sauce. Grumble, grumble, grumble. So, this holiday season, I took advantage of a holiday sale & bought it. Used it only twice, so far, but WOW!!!! YES, it's more than worth it! FABULOUS!!

For one who loves to make soups and stews, this item will spoil you rotten! It is all that it was promised to be and I absolutely am thrilled every time I use this pot. I almost took it on vacation with me because I might cook at a family members house and can't imagine making my spagetti sauce in any other pot. Next time, it WILL be on my packing musts!
