When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Self-proclaimed Gourmet
I bought this size and this particular Le Creuset 3 1/2 Quart round French oven because I wanted to use it for baking bread. My "Grit" magazine has a full issue just for making Bread's of all kinds. Most of my interest was for the "No Knead" breads. My Arthritic hands could no longer make bread from scratch! It is working just like the recipe in the "Grit" magazine. Artisan bread made easy! Love it.
Last but not least....this has the knob that can take a lot of heat. Not like the cheap plastic knobs on some of the other types of French Ovens. You get what you pay for!
In the kitchen, I'm never without: Anything from Chef's Catalog

I love it, I used it for the first time yesterday, I made a pot roast, it came out great, moist and flavorful. It washed up like a dream. I am looking at buying a bigger one soon.
