I ordered these scoops to serve at an all white wedding reception. An idea I saw in a Brides magazine. Found just what I was looking for with only days before the (MY)Wedding. They were shipped immediately and I received them in days, in plenty of time for my wedding. Thank You So Much!! My table looked great.

I was excited to receive two scoops that were to be used for my son's birthday party. I removed the sticker, but did not see anything on there stating they are not dishwasher safe. After washing them, the shiny metal became a very flat gray.

This product is just right for my needs. The only suggestion would be that the handle be covered in some material that would not allow it to stick to your hand when used in an ice maker.

We use these mostly in our flour bins, keeping one in each as well as in the ice maker try in our freezer; this 7-inch one is in the sugar.
Being aluminum, they'll quickly dull if you wash them in the dishwasher but continue to perform well.
Capacity of these scoops tends to be a little more than the common measures (9" is 12 oz; 7" is 5oz), thus requiring only one scoop to over-fill a 1-cup or 1/2-cup measure for easy leveling-off.
The scoop and handle are well designed, offering a good feel and accurate control.

There were no instructions, the ladles were not in a package, they were simply in plastic bags. I washed them on the top shelf of the dishwasher and they are tarnished, spotted, pitted and ruined. They were a total waste as I never used them. I would rate them negative 5 stars if I could.

The scoop seems well-made and is a good price, but I agree with previous reviewers: The handle needs to be longer to be truly functional. I took off a star for that.

I love these scoops. They are nice and sturdy and seem well made. The metal isn't the smoothest on the edges, there is a little flash. But not bad and does not effect the use of the scoops. I'm very pleased and if there's ever a free shipping day again I'm going to get another set.

I ordered this item for a friend that was looking for a metal ice scoop for their freezer. I think it will work ok, just wish the handle was a little longer. That's why I only gave it four stars.
