Two of Paula's classics have been combined into one book, "The Lady & Son's Savannah Country Cookbook" and "The Lady & Sons, Too!", making this volume a Southern cooks dream. However, the two books are not combined, so you have two chapters on many subjects, appetizers, soups, vegetables, etc.
On many of the recipes, Paula has added personal notes, making it feel like your sitting down with your Southern Aunt picking her brains for cooking ideas.
You will also find plenty of Paula's kitchen hints.
Perfect gift for the experienced to the beginner.

This cookbook is delightful and fun. It also has some very informative tables of conversion equivalents which I had not seen before which are very helpful. For example, other books have stated what a cup of flour is in the English metric system etc. but here she also has a nifty table of what a cup of flour is in actual ounce equivalents. This will come in handy for me because some cooking shows I watch state to measure out certain products in ounces of use and I don't have a kitchen scale so knowing what the cup size or measuring spoon equivalent would be is very valuable indeed!
