Pros: every recipe works
Cons: sometimes too many steps for an easy family dinner

"It is now the first cookbook (of over 100) that I reach for. Every recipe I've tried has turned out just as described. It really helps to have very clear, specific directions--no guessing. The Oatmeal bread recipe has received raves from everyone. Another favorite is the Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, although I use dried cranberries. I love the pan sauces."
