When I'm in the Kitchen, I become: Kitchen Diva/King
I bought three 8 ounce squeeze bottles to use for a taco madness party. I filled them with mexican crema, and pureed new mexican chile sauce and my guests helped themselves with no mess or akward spoons. The third I filled with oil for frying tortillas.I can't wait for barbeque season to use them again!
In the kitchen, I'm never without: rubber spatulas!
Favorite Brand: Williams Sonoma
Pros: easy to use, multi-purpose, Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, easy to store, Functional/Useful
Years ago I had bottles like these for dressings and condiments. They were all the rage and were total necessities in my kitchen. Then they went out of style and I couldn't even find them in my local restaurant supply store. I'm so glad I found these because they are absolutely indispensable. These bottles from Chef's Catalog in particular are great because they are thin enough to make squeezing easy and yet are surprisingly strong. Not flimsy at all.
The two different sizes are also a great feature because I usually have several sauces on hand that I only ever make a little of so the bigger bottle is a waste. Best of all, the price for the set is such a bargain that I can afford to get them all and therefore don't have to constantly be cleaning one out in order to refill it right away with the next dressing in line.
AND they're dishwasher safe! To me the lack of spout cover is not a disadvantage but a real plus. Those little covers were always a pain to clean and always got in the way. I usually ended up just cutting them off. Especially since I needed to cut off the tip of the spout anyway to accommodate the larger ingredients in the sauce; which you can do with these too since they have a little line around the spout to act as a guide.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, easy to use, Functional/Useful
I've been experimenting with different sauces and syrups but had a difficult time storing/using them. These bottles can handle the thicker syrups and still be able to dispense them precisely, think decorative. My only wish is that it would have a way to securely close the lid for storing. I'm using one for a mocha syrup to make frappucinos but am uneasy storing it in the door of the fridge. Yes, a little plastic wrap can do the trick, but can be unwieldy.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Value for Money, construction, Performs Well
Cons: cannot securely close

These bottles are great to have around for a variety of purposes. I've used them for sauces, icings, and even home made dressings. The only thing I wish they had was a cap. That way I would be a little less nervous about spillage in the frig.
Pros: Functional/Useful
Cons: no cap

You get what you buy. It is exactly what you imagine it as: 3 plastic squeeze bottles. You have to cut off tops to get your desired spout size.

We brought enough for our home and R V. These will replace our old bottles. We put all our liquid cooking needs in these bottles. They work great in the R V due to all the movement inside when driving down the road. There is very little if any spilling.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, quality, easy to use, multi-purpose, Appearance/ Design /Style, easy to store, durability, Functional/Useful

Great squeeze bottles

These bottles are great! They work for many uses. The only thing they need are those little snap on lids that you loose all the time. If your a chef and have the kitchen to yourself there great. If your a chef and have little ones who like to spill things in your kitchen, or adults who do the same, they would come in really handy. All in all these are great and would buy them again.
Pros: easy to use, multi-purpose, Functional/Useful, capacity
Cons: could use lids

These squeeze bottles are great except for the fact they have no caps. I've had to rig a foil tent to cover the spout.

The plastic squeeze bottles I purchased were on sale and that was a big plus. This is the second time I've purchased this particular style bottle from Chefs Catalog. The other set I had begun to leak. I believe that the leaking was not due to poor quality but because I use them for dish soap, cooking oil, and other things that are used everyday. Those using these for condiments probably wouldn't go through them as fast as I do. The lids seem to be a little heavier than before. Not sure if that's a good thing or bad thing at this point. They seem to be just as good. One thing I love about these is that when using them for cooking oil, you have more control of how much oil pours out as opposed to the container the oil comes in from the store. The only draw back is that they don't come with a lids for the tips.

I have been taking cooking classes and the chefs always have their oil in on of these bottles. Just got 3 of them and put my different oils in them and they take up much less room on the counter and make it so easy to just squirt some oil in the pan.
Pros: easy to use, easy to store, Functional/Useful

Pro: Good Kitchen Accesory. Con: Needs spout cap.

Good Kitchen accesory to have around. Great for sauces, dressings, syrups and oils. Easy to clean, and made of #4 Plastic which means that it does not leach chemicals.
The reason I rated the product as Average is that they do not come with those little red spout caps so that you can leave remaining fluids in the bottle to store in the refrigerator. I would recommend that Chef's contact the manufacturer and have them ship those out with the product.
Pros: Easy to Clean/Wash, Material, easy to use, construction, durability, Functional/Useful
Cons: Performance, needs spout cap

So Many Uses

I not only use these squeeze bottles for my homemade mustards, ketchups and vinaigrettes - but they also work great for stuffing eclairs, filling chocolate molds, drizzling oil into a wok, and easily dispenses cilantro crema in my tacos. (Just cut off the tip to adjust to desired flow)
Pros: Functional/Useful, multi-purpose, Value for Money
I make my own aioli, dressings, herb oils, and other items that all store perfectly in these bottles. They also can be handy when plating dishes, to add extra special touches. I love them! The only con is after storing certain products (such as tomato based items) in them, after time they will pick up color and taste. Since plastic is porous, this is unavoidable and would happen with any brand (as far as I am aware.). Great value!
Pros: easy to store, easy to use, multi-purpose, Value for Money
I keep one for good old fashioned mustard so I can buy the mustard in huge jars for economy buy use it in a convenient manner. Another is for mayo since I make mine from scratch. I love these classic squeeze bottles!
