Our ten year old convection/toaster oven served us well, but needed to be replaced. I did a lot of research and saw the high ratings for this DeLonghi oven.
My wife and I both love it! The toaster function is great, getting the right darkness without any problems. We've baked things in it and also roasted veggies and are pleasantly surprised with the accuracy and quietness of the convection aspect.
The countdown timer is a nice feature that is easily adjusted mid-stream if you need to. It doesn't reset the oven at all, just the time.
The clock/oven display is one of the best I've seen, with a blue background and bright white numbers. The stainless steel finish fits our kitchen decor quite nicely.
The crumb tray is so easy to remove and clean, I'm doing it after each toasting or cooking cycle. The crumbs slide off the tray without effort.
Another feature that sets this apart from other ovens is the interior light. It's about time we can see how the cooking is doing!
In the kitchen, I'm never without: my Chef's utensils and accessories.

My daughter got this as a wedding present and liked it so much that I had to get one! It's a great toaster oven in that it does just about everything a full size oven does, but without heating up the kitchen on a hot day. It has two shelves which is nice because you can bake two 12" inch pizzas at one time or two sheets of cookies. It comes with a lot of extras like a pizza pan, cookie sheets, broiler pan etc. I love that it has a light inside. I haven't seen that on any other toaster ovens. And the convection feature is nice too. It looks great and has a lot of nice features for a good price!

The Delonghi Convection Toaster Oven is not only a good- looking addition to my kitchen counter, it performs as well as it looks. The racks, baking pan, and cookie sheets are of superior quality and durability, which I know will perform for years to come. The Defrosting and Baking feature is one of our favorites and used quite often. Toaster Ovens have come a long way and this one, in my opinion, is state of the art. We love it.

Can't believe I have been married 45 years, am a cook, gadget lover, and foodie, and this is the first toaster oven I have had. There are so many things I prepare for just the two of us that can be cooked in this oven, instead of my two full size convection ovens. And the kitchen stays cool!

I purchased this oven twice. I used it relentlessly the first time (as my wall oven's thermostat broke, and we're remodeling in the near future, so I'm not using a big oven).
This thing cooks all of our food perfectly. Let me clarify. Pizza: crisp crusts, browned cheeses; bagels: ever so lightly toasted, but not dried up. Chocolate chip cookies - don't get us started. Best oven ever for those. Casseroles, Mac n Cheese, Burritos, Fries - flawless. Proteins that need broiling or roasting always come out succulent and tender. Salmon, tuna, chicken, steak.
My only wish is that it were taller - that way, we could bake bread from scratch (larger loaves). But we're just griping because our regular oven is on the fritz.
Our new purchase was not to replace our original, but to keep it going with more cooking options until we can remodel. Now that we have two of these, we can warm a loaf of sourdough while broiling the Copper River Salmon!

This is my first toaster oven and I'm in love. Heats quickly, easy to use and works very well. I've baked pizza, and quiche, toasted fresh and frozen bread, broiled meats and fish and all have worked well. It's been easy to clean as well. The only cons I can say about it is that when a fairly heavy load is placed on the top position rack, the rack has slipped out of place twice....kind of messy with quiche. It may be something I'm doing wrong...have not read the book to figure it out and it vibrates noisily when using convection function. Still, I'm buying a second one for a gift.

I owned an older model of the Delonghi toaster oven and was very pleased with it.. The new model looks great! I'm still getting used to it but the toast seems to take a little longer than what I'm used to. The baking setting are good also. I had the old model for 12 years and I believe this will last as long.

It works great and is soooo quite that you have to check to see if it's running. Only thing is, it was suppose to come with cookie sheets and pizza pan and didn't. Called customer service (very nice people) but the parts on back order. They will send asap. We'll see.

So far I love this oven. the only reason I gave it 4 stars is that it was missing the cookie sheets and the pizza tray. I had to call Chefs to request these parts, but have not received them yet. It does a great job baking and toasting. I purchased this to replace a cheap toaster oven that actually caught things on fire! it has more than met my expectations.

I just purchased a new DeLonghi convection oven and I'm thrilled with it. This replaces the DeLonghi toaster oven that has served me for the last 20 years and is still going. My new oven has so many more features and is much larger. Simple to operate and stylish in appearance. I plan to enjoy it for a long time.

I purchased this toaster oven to use mostly in the summer months instead of heating up the kitchen by using the regular oven. I am delighted with it. It masks the best toast ever and bakes in a much shorter time. I like it so much I won't be using my oven much.

I bought this oven three months ago to replace my old toaster oven (also a Delonghi), which had stopped working after over 20 years of good service. This model is even better than that one was, for about the same price (adjusted for inflation), and of course it has far more features.
The only feature I have not yet experimented with is the convection baking, but I have no reason to think that it will be any less good than the rest of the settings. The best news is that at last I have an oven that will cook the center of a pizza as well as the rim.
The digital display eliminates guesswork when setting temperatures, and the oven itself easily outperforms my main oven (a Hotpoint, but I had no choice in that; it came with my apartment).
The only downside is that the cord is much too short. I had to buy an extension cord to reach the desired wall outlet.

I bought this oven because my last toaster oven was also Delonghi. This item is just terrible! Crisp toast is impossible to attain. It takes at least 1/3 MORE time to cook an item beyond the recommended cooking times. The temperature doesn't seem accurate. If I could send it back I would. I'm sorry I gave my old toaster oven away! Not only that but who would ever imagine the rack has to go in with what appears to be "upside down" position to prevent it from slipping out of the skimpy grooves provided! I expected a better oven for the price I paid.

Really an excellent product to augment the standard oven. I like it for baking potatoes, warning things, baking pizza - 10 ". I also like the fact that it doesn't have a huge foot print. The rounded back that matches the curve of the included pizza pan allows for it to be not much bigger than the one I replaced. I like the crumb tray for easy cleaning, the light inside to see how the toast is toasting, casserole is bubbling, or anything you want to view while cooking. It's use is intuitive and it looks nice.

I am SO pleased with the Delonghi Convection Toaster Oven DO1289. I live in an apartment building that has CHEAP appliances and I have not been able to broil anything since I moved here. This oven toasts and broils easily and to perfection. My baked potatoes were exactly as I wanted them to be and I did NOT have to heat this entire tiny apartment to have the meal I wanted. I would recommend this product to anyone and everyone.

It's a lovely little appliance but it's buttons are a bit daunting until you get used to them. It cooks beautifully, it toasts bread to perfection but it takes a long time---it takes almost a half hour to get to baking temperature. So if you're not in a hurry, it's just great.
