I wanted to leave these grinders on the dining room table and find them a bit clunkier than expected,on the larger side of my "not too big, not too small mantra" The salt grinder delivers finely ground salt as expected but the pepper grinder is too fine and doesn't seem to be adjustable. A small knob on the top is supposed to make it adjustable but is a flimsy design.

Salt grinder was fine but pepper took forever to grid . Totally not worth the price! Plus out the return shipping because FedEx corp. store was not near by.

We love these salt and pepper shakers on the table. We always used a pepper grinder from the kitchen which is more heavy duty and meant for for grilling/cooking. This set is much more attractive on the table but you still get the fresh ground taste.
Pros: easy to use, construction, Performs Well, capacity, Easy to Clean/Wash, Appearance/ Design /Style, Functional/Useful

This is my first reusable mill set.
Salt works real good,pepper works ok-I AM used to table shakers and expeted the pepper to come out like that.
Set it on small output and seem to be a little better.
still am using the original peppercorn that came with it.
