What a difference! I have had the same exact machine for many years, except there was no clamp and no option for a motor. Now, I have both, and am back in the habit of making my own pasta with my own chickens' fresh eggs. No sweat or sore arms trying to hold down the machine as before. I also got the cute little rack on which to hang the properly cut pasta. It's like a little clothes line, and it is much more neat than drying them on parchment paper all over the kitchen.

I received this as a wedding gift, and after 23 years it still looks and works as beautifully as the day I first tried it. Wish I could say the same about the bride (that's me) . . .

I was looking for a pasta machine that was well made and would last for a long time. After researching available models I decided to get the Atlas Marcato Pasta Machine, 150 and I really like it. It is easy to use and easy to clean. My 13 year old son and I have enjoyed making pasta together. He likes it so much he wants to use it every day. I know we will be using this machine for a long time. I highly recommend it for all pasta lovers.

This is my second machine, lost the first in a move. It is simple to operate, durable, with no electric parts to go bad. Worked perfectly all the time! Many great meals were had because of this machine!

This machine was given to me as a gift. I had never made pasta before but was excited about the possibilities it offered me. The first batch of pasta (after using about half the dough to clean the machine) turned out exceptional. It is very easy to use and makes great pasta. My kids help me when I make a new batch and it has become a family friendly event in the house. Not to mention that fresh pasta is so much better than the store bought brands. A must have for the kitchen!!!

I liked this product. I have never made pasta before and was a bit worried about making my own pasta. But it turned out quite easy and the machine worked well. Easy to use and clean.

I was impressed by this machine from the moment I opened the box. It was heavy and appeared to be well made. I used a very good pasta machine at cooking school in Florence and hoped to find a similar one after getting back to The States. This is it. Easy to use and I expect it will last me forever. So much of what we buy today is simply junk. Not the case with this Atlas 150 pasta machine. It will definitely not disappoint.

I purchased my Atlas Marcato Pasta Machine 150 in early 1970's for $39.50 with an extra attachment for $19.50. I still keep it in the original box that has the price stickers on it. I have used it hundreds of times and even taught a Pasta making class with it and loaned it to a number of students to try. It is so simple to make pasta dough with a food processor and then knead and cut it with the Atlas. It's fun to make in front of your dinner guests and they will think you're a genius for making your own tender pasta just like your grandma used to make noodles from scratch. It is is welll worth the money for the delight it will bring to you.

The pasta is terrific. It takes some time but for me the results are worth it. The machine is well built and fairly easy to use. I am not a chef and tend to be a clutz in the kitchen. You need a helper when you roll the pasta but that can mean a little family or spouse time. Good purchase.

Bought for my son-in-law and he likes it other than the first time he used it his dough was a little sticky and noted that he needs to have stiffer dough the next time.

This product was a gift for my son-in-law. He is a chef and was delighted to get the pasta machine from Chef's Catalog. He had requested the pasta machine for Christmas and I am pleased that he was delighted - good family vibes!!!

Love this pasta maker! Don't waste your money on the cheaper ones that some companies try to sell you. Bottom line, when it comes to kitchen equipment, you get what you pay for! Ease of use was great and smooth roller action.
This product is so well made, it'll be around for me to pass down to the next generation.
MAKE SURE YOU NEVER USE WATER TO CLEAN THIS UNIT! I prefer to take mine into our garage and use the air compressor to blow it out.

I used one of these at my pasta cooking class a few weeks ago. I was excited because I use my Kitchenaid attachment (that I LOVE) so I was curious how this would work. It was great. I'd be perfectly content using this if I did not have a Kitchenaid stand mixer. It is very sturdy and works great. The only thing is the handle kept falling off. But I would definitely recommend this to anyone who does not have a stand mixer.

This is a terriffic machine. My daughter and I have created some spectatular cheese filled ravioli using the Atlas machine. We have enjoyed hours of fun. Grab all the attachments to go with it. You will want to try them all. We add fresh basil and oregano to our dough for an added flavor.

I love the freedom of making my own pasta, and this machine is the one and only. I can add pestos or herbs to my dough, make the noodles skinny or wide, and I have great fun doing it. I improvised some pasta the other night while friends were over and you'd have thought I'd conjured the stuff from mid-air. They were so amazed at how fast and easy from-scratch pasta could be.
