I did not follow the manufacturer’s cooking instructions; I used my secret cooking method for popping popcorn, which would be the best test for this pot. To my surprise, the popcorn came out fluffy and all the kernels popped. I am considering ordering a second pot just in case something happens to my first purchase.

I don't plan to use this for sugary, sticky stuff, just wanted a more durable, stainless steel unit (the lid broke on my last one). I've been very pleased with its performance so far. If you follow the instructions, every last seed will pop! I considered the Waring 12 cup counter top unit but with this 6 cup, you can make two batches in minutes and have alot less to clean up and store!

I love this popper.Being stainless steel is a big plus and it pops corn so well. I love the crank on top rather than thru the handle.I got one for my grandkids too and they are having a ball with it and using popcorn almost exclusively for snacks now. It's great!!

Unfortunately it is a bit awkward at times. The lid does not fit easily and stirring it can get tiresome, but overall it is well worth the effort.

I had bought a new induction cooktop- then I realized my original whirly pop would no longer work. So began my search for one that would work.
I was happy to find there was a new version of the whirlypop that would work on induction cook tops. And was extremely excited to fine this one works just as well as the original or even better.
There is no better popcorn maker than the whirlypop's. And that this is such a nice heavy material and works well on induction cooktops is just a bonus!

We really like this popper. The first batch of kettle corn was perfectly popped and it was easy to clean up. My only complaint is that the handle is not as easy to manage as those poppers where the handle turns vertically off the arm.

After owning several aluminum Whirly Poppers, I opted for the stainless steel variety to keep away from aluminum. So far, so good. I really like how sturdy it is, and the top handle works great. I have not made any thick things yet, but regular popcorn taste's fantastic. I use a high quality organic coconut oil, organic popcorn and just lightly salt with sea salt, very healthy snack for my family without all the harmful ingredients of microwave popcorn.

Fantastic stove-top popcorn popper! Our poor old aluminum one was falling apart. This model is sturdy, conducts heat extremely well, super easy to clean, and has nice features to the lid which make handling very easy and practical. A MUST HAVE for any popcorn lover!!!

I love this corn popper! I was hesitant in buying it after reading a review on here about it is not suitable for induction cook tops. I am glad I researched further and ordered it. This corn popper is made of stainless and is NOT aluminum. Not all stainless will stand up to a magnet test. I have used this several times on my induction cook top and have had no problems with it at all.
I highly recommend this product.

I have had many Whirly Pops and fake ones too! Give them as gifts many times! Love the new design and the fact it is Stainless Steel pan. It is one of the best gifts I give to friends!

Love Whirlypop, But Doesn't Work on Induction

I love my old aluminum Whirly Pop, but I'm getting an induction cooktop and I was really sorry to be losing my old popper. So I was thrilled to discover a stainless steel Whirly Pop. But when I unpacked the new Whirly Pop and tested it with a magnet, it was obvious it had an aluminum base. Because it won't work on an induction cooktop, I returned it. Sadly . . .

The Whirly Pop is a replacement of our previous less expensive Whirly pop that has plastic gears. We eat a lot of popcorn and used our original Whirly Pop almost daily. When I read the reviews on this upgrade model it sounded like the product for me.
Chefs send the order quickly via FedEx which I appreciate very much!!! The product was in good condition and works excellent. I would purchase this product again and recommend to a friend, no gears, stainless steel construction, lid stays on securely and no aluminum to worry about.

My wife wanted a popcorn popper like this one and I thought it would be a frivolous purchase. To appease her, I ordered it. Much to my surprise, this popper is a wonderful addition to our kitchen. 1) It pops all the kernels. 2) It comes apart for easy cleaning. 3) It is neatly engineered so that the popcorn can be poured from the popper while it is hot.
