I love this more than those "Corer-Peeler Slicer" gadgets that cut away half your apple.I peel my own apple then use this to prepare my pie slices.Heard about this from The Food Network's Alton Brown.

Very disappointing. Ordered 2 of these, 1 for myself and 1 for a gift. Tried slicing a ripe golden delicious apples using both the settings, but would not go through the apple. Did manage to get it to slice a Bartlett pear, but that is always very soft.

Used this the next day to make my favorite Rosemary Blossom Apple Pie.
Previously cored apples in large slices. Always wanted a device to make thinner uniform slices.

I purchased the slicer corer for myself but I found that my 4 year old granddaughter loves it too. She helps me slice the apples and takes slices because she likes smaller bites. It is easy to clean

Wow this was much better than I expected. The quality is fantastic and the blade guard is an unexpected surprise. I would recomend this in a heart beat.

only six or eight apple slices, you can increase to
getting a whopping 16! This is excellent instead of
digging out the knife and cutting the slices in half

I had trouble with changing the slice, moving the tabs.
Also some apples were hard to cut through.
I do like that I can get 16 slices , not having to slice by hand helps.
