My wife and I truly enjoy this particular model in the slow cooker family. It seems to cook all the food evenly and to perfection. I would recommend this brand over several others considering its long history and successful meals actually cooked within our household.

This is a great unit. Very compact for storage. It performs very well. This unit has 4 heat settings instead of the traditional 3. The extra unit is high which cooks hotter than most brands. Low is the equivelent to most brands hottest setting. The programming option and auto warm are great features, as is the retractable cord. I also have the Delonghi 5 qt that I use for larger meals. Both are great but if I had to pick one, it would be the Cuisinart.

This is the first crock pot I have ever had and I am so amazed and pleased! I have already cooked red buttered cabbage, baked potatoes, and onion soup and they all came out great! I think my two favorite features are the retractable cord, which makes it very easy to leave on the counter, and the timable feature. It stays warm for 8 hours after done cooking so you dont have to worry about being there on time. In my famiy it is just my husband and I and this crockpot is a great size! I have aways had leftovers, which is what we were going for, and it is big enough for stew. I highly recommend this product, I think you need to spend a little extra on a crock pot to get a good one and this one is well worth the money!

I have used mine several times and I love it. It's just big enough for a small family. I love the timer and the auto change to warm when cooking is complete. Love the retractable cord.

I have a very small (apartment) kitchen. This appliance is small enough to store on the counter. I also keep it there to remind me to use it often. Great design/sleek appearance. Love the stainless steel!
I am useless with any kind of appliance, but the instructions and hints were great. The cord is unobtrusive, out of sight and easy to get to. I think the best hint was to spray the pot with cooking spray prior to adding any food; clean up was a breeze. Best of all, I do not have to keep taking off the lid to stir. I am never ready to eat when planned, so the automatic shift to warm is the best. Oh, and the food comes out perfect. I did think the original price was steep, but I got it at a great sale price!

My last two slow cookers heated so unevenly that things actually burned. This time went for Cuisinart as we have lots of their products and it was worth it! My first day was short ribs and great.

Very disappointed with Cuisinart slow cooker. After 2 unsuccessful tries, product was returned. Both times after12 hours of cooking meat was raw.
Believe product should have not passed inspection

after replacing my old one (and I do mean old ) with the cuisinart it has made a big differance in cooking. I can set it and if I don't get back when done it will still be warm and not over cooked. As with all of their products, built to last.

We have used it to make chili and even rice for our New Year's Eve gumbo. It received compliments sitting out on the counter for its looks. Definitely a keeper!

Using fresh herbs, onions, garlic, white wine and vegetables, this cooker soaks up everything in a pot roast (in recipe book included) or in chicken breasts or ribs. It cooks enough to eat for at least 3 days during the week (if you prepare it on a Sat. or Sun.) cutting down on washing pots, cleaning the stove, or if you just don't feel like figuring out what to eat or cook after a tiring day--and the food is still tasty. A very sturdy product.

Great product for me, The Worlds Worst Cook. I tend to multitask and forget to do things like go to the freezer and thaw whatever, or I cook and burn. The slow cooker forces me to plan ahead while knowing I will not need to babysit what I am cooking and the recipes are pretty good. I also can make a soup from the juices that are created from slow cooking. I love soups and with the Cuisinart slow cooker, I get several meals and soup as well. I also choose this for it's size, good looks and the good reviews.

resolves the problems of earlier generations of slow cookers. The lift-out cooking unit makes cleaning easy; its programmable, digital display is easy to set and read; and I really like the retractable cord !

I own the 4 Qt version. Have used it several times. To make Beef Stew. The Cuisinart has never let me down. I was worried at first about leaving it On while I was at work. Every time I come home the Timer function had it on Warm. I am only cooking for one. So I can make about 7 servings. Roughly a weeks worth. I may eventually get the 6.5 Qt version.
