This knife is excellent for cutting bread and sandwiches. My husband finds the fit and weight of the knife in his hand to be well balanced and a pleasure to use. We liked it so much we ordered one for our daughter and her best friend. We recommend this knife. Is a go to knide for other uses as well. Also an excellent value for the money.

My husband and I are now baking our own bread weekly. After reading a review in cook's illustrated, we thought we would try this knife. I wish i had bought it years ago. It cuts into home baked bread like butter. i am able to cut thin uniform slices. I would highly recommend and price is right

I like the longer length of this knife. It works great for slicing homemade bread. I also use it to cut off the domes on my cakes. The longer length is perfect for it and makes clean slices.

This is my sixth Victorinox knife. It slices through a large round loaf of bread effortlessly, is well balanced and comfortable to use. The price is very reasonable. It would make a great gift.

I bought this bread knife after reading a review for it in Cook's Illustrated, and have to say, it doesn't disappoint. Every Victorinox knife I own comes sharp, consistent, and holds it's edge better than many more expensive knives. Not just a bread knife, but a very good workhorse serrated knife with multiple uses, this knife is a great value.
