Received my 3rd (in my life time) blender and just love it. The last one had a plastic pitcher which did not hold up as well as the glass pitcher. This one is glass and great. Would recommend it to anyone that wants a blender that crushes ice.

Fantastic blender! Easily and quickly chops ice in to small enough bits to get them thru a straw. Makes quick work of anything thrown in and blends a delish daiquiri or pina colada. Simple to clean too!

I am loving my new blender. It arrived promptly, whithin about 5 days or so. My grandchildren and I have already tried it out making their favorite frozen fruit smoothies. It performed great...blended the frozen fruit perfectly. Very powerful motor. The red color fits perfectly in out kitchen.

I owned a Kitchenaid blender with a glass jar for over five years and used it continuously. I liked my previous model so much that when it came time to buy a new one, I chose this model as it is very comparable. So far, it has been great. I like the glass jar and the construction seems to be excellent. I would recommend it!

High Value

The KiitchenAid blender provides a remarkable level of quality for a modest price. It is a well thought out design as well.
For example the buttons used to operate the variable speeds are flush with the control panel. This eliminates the possiblity of food particles or other debris building up around those controls. Rarely requiring cleaning, if it should be needed Just wipe the control panel with a damp sponge or cloth and you are finished.
Another quality touch is the blender jar. It is made out of thick glass not the more commonly encountered plastic.
At whatever speed you select, for the first few seconds the motor will deliberately start slowly. This is done so that the blades can more efficiently pull the food into the center for better mixing. Then the vigorous motor kicks into whatever seting you have chosen.
I selected the cobalt blue color. It looks good but is a bit darker than I wished. Overall I think this is a fine product.

It has enough power to do great purees, sauces, salsas, made a roasted poblano & tomatillo enchilada sauce, it powered through beautifully, slow on things with too much density like hummus etc. but use a processor for that. This is a great blender and for the price it has substantial power! Not to noisy either !

We love Kitchenaid appliances. I have, over the years, purchased several mixers, blenders, and food processors. My last Kitchenaid blender worked great for about 10 years with daily use. When the motor gave out I purchased another Kitchenaid thinking it would be the same....it wasn't. I purchased it in August and it started leaking profusely in January. My husband tried to tighten it but the base assembly of this blender won't let you take it apart to try to fix it. Our previous blender worked with no problems and you could purchase replacement parts easily. The base assembly is expensive to try to purchase. Chef's was great in replacing the blender but it does the same thing. I will not purchase this blender again.

Good workhorse of a blender. Relatively quiet. Powerful motor. Height is perfect for fitting under upper cabinets. Easy clean-up. Like the glass jar--no scratches.

Love the ease of use and cleaning. I had another Kitchen Aide I used for 15 years and wore it out, so went with another which I think will be used as much and as well . thank you for such a great product.

As usual, a quality product from Kitchen Aid. I particularly like the blender's key pad, glass pitcher/container, its quieter running sound, and the ease with which it can be cleaned after usage..

I have recently purchased the Kitchen Aid 5- speed Blender. I was on a hunt for a glass jar.Just my own personal preference. I had ordered a differnt brand but quickly sent it back becasue the noise was horriable. I put this blender to work right away making a vegetarian "cheese sauce". Blended cashews and other ingredients. It worked beautifully for that in only 2 minutes. Cashews sometimes need extra blending or they have a grainy affect. I also made a smoothy with huge frozen Costco strawberries. Came out nice and smooth. I give it 4 stars only becasue I find the locking collar and blade assembly being one piece is just differnt than what I am used to . In other blenders I had liked the idea of twisting the blade from the collar for cleaning. But I do love this blender,

This is the best blender I have ever used!!
When my original 20 year old Kitchen Aid blender burnt out. I purchased a lesser KA blender and it burnt out. I replaced with another famous name blender, that was a waste of $$.
I will ALWAYS purchase Kitchen Aid.

this blender is the perfect example of why i shop chefs, exactly as pictured and described, and pure quality. shipping was as usual, FAST!
it has a strong motor, and constuction is solid.
you wont go wrong with kitchen-aid. of course they have larger motors, but for the average family use, and for the price, this is the one that will last.

While I appreciate the compact design, ease of use, and affordable pricing, I am a bit disappointed that when blending green smoothies, the Kitchen Aid does not adequately liquify the pieces of cucumber as I would like, no matter how small I dice them prior to blending. Altho I do not find this to be highly objectionable, some people might.
