I purchased this same cookware set about 5 years ago. I have used it heavily ever since and, as a former chef, they have not had an easy life. To this day they still have a mirror finish, are easy to clean and are very durable. Not only is it a long term cookware set, you cuold leave them in your will. I don't ever see them going out of style. I like mine so much that I bought a set as a graduation present for my oldest daughter, who I have been teching how to cook for many years now. I know she will be thrilled to have such a nice set of cookware. She frequently comments on other cookware she has used and how wonderful the set I have is. I know she'll be thrilled to receieve her own set.

I really don't know how this product works because we bought it for our granddaughter as a wedding gift.
I will say that I was well pleased with the Cookware when it arrived. The pots and pans were well balanced when holding them, well built and they appear that they will certainly last for a lifetime. I was thrilled with the lifetime guarantee.
Certainly this was good price for the product.

This is the first set of quality, stainless steel cookware I have owned. I have some Circulon anodized non-stick pans that I really like but these are way better. I have had the set for a couple of weeks now and I love these pans. Clean up is simple if you follow the instructions. Be sure to cook with low to medium heat. Honestly, I am frying potatoes on medium heat and sauteing on med- low. They stand up quite well in the oven or broiler. I am very happy with them. These pans are not heavy and the cool handles are very nice. They are very easy to pour out of too because of the design of the lip of the pans. My favorite thing is that all of the skillets and sauce pans have their own lids so there is no "sharing" of the lids except for the Stock Pot and Saute pan.

I am a student at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts, and these pans hold up to some of my worst dishes. I have made one of the sautee' pans almost all black I thought that I would have throw the pan away, but I just deglazed it with some chicken stock out of the fridge and it was like brand new again. I do wash the outside with a really nice soft wash clothe and the inside with a sponge so they stay really pretty. These pans are really nice when you have a dinner party and your guests see how nice they are and they inspire you to cook some really great dishes in them. I am considering ordering another set as I really don't have the time to wash a pot or pan again that I will need to make a meal

This is the second set of cuisinart cookware that I have purchased from Chefs Catalog. The first set was purchased for my daughter last year as a gift. That set turned out to be so beautiful that I purchased this set for my son for the holiday. Both my children are very pleased with the function, the look, and the construction of their sets. I am sure that both sets will last them forever. It is just beautiful...

I purchased this set with the goal of replacing all the odds and ends that I had collected (and ruined) over my adult life.
This was one of the few sets that came with a 12" saucepan AND a 10" saucepan - so the value for money was high for me. The added incentive of the steamers sold me on this set. Everyone I know recoils in horror when I mention that these are dishwasher safe, and so far I haven't taken the lazy route and actually stuck them in there. If you're going to spend the money on a decent set of cookware, you might as well take the extra effort to hand wash the items. So, with all that said, I don't have any comment on the ability to put these in the dishwasher. They also claim stove to oven use, but I haven't tried that yet - but that's something I'm planning on doing.
So far my daily use has shown that these provide balanced heat across the pan, and recipes have come out far better than my ragtag chipped non-stick cookware. It's yet to be seen if this actually elevates my culinary skill, but it's definitely a nice set for the price.

These pans are so very easy too clean, so far my food do not stick to them. I just purchased a Dual Oven by Sam Sung and that is why I bought the new Set. I would buy a set again any day. You can touch the handle while cooking on the stove top. Just love that feature.Even cooking. I would never dish wash my pans. They will discolor slightly.

I guess I'm just too impatient to cook with stainless cookware. I have been cooking with this cookware for about two weeks and do not really like it. I have burnt potatoes and eggs and in spite of using lots of oil and low heat, it doesn't seem to matter. I'm returning it and getting some non-stick.

I am very pleased with this purchase and I would highly recommend this cookware set to others. It is not ony beautiful sitting on the stove, it is easy to clean, and the heat is distributed evenly and items cook faster. I can't believe I waited so long to purchase this cookware as it is a great product and a great value for all the pieces in this set. And to make it even better, I received free shipping and it came in less than a week after it was ordered.

I bought this cookware set as a present to myself. I cook a lot and I had not bought a new set in 12 years. I must admit this was not my first pick. I really wanted an all clad set, but went for this one because of the price. The true test for me when judging cookware is whether you can scramble an egg with little to no oil. This set passed the test. Clean up is a breeze and the set keeps its shine. I like the mirror finish. I consider myself an experienced cook and I really like this cookware set. Even if you only cook once a week it is worth the money to purchase a cookware set that will not let you down in a pinch.

This cookware is beautiful and very easy to clean. You can almost not spill on the outside when pouring with the contents out. Clean-up is very important to me; I am the worlds worst when it come to going through cookware because it looks 100 years old in about a month. This set is big, which is nice so you can keep cooking without washing. And as I said even when things stick to the bottom, if you soak it, it comes out like a dream. I am in heaven!

I bought the 17 PIECE Cuisinart Chefs Classic Cookware Set
and I am more than pleased with my purchase. I have been looking for the most perfect cookware, that not, only I could afford but the cookware had to be top quality stainless steel. I have been cooking with stainless steel cookware all my life. I even learned to cook on stainless cookware because my Mother was a firm believer in the health benefits that cooking with stainless steel had to offer.

I have been cooking with stainless steel cookware all my life. I even learned to cook on stainless cookware because my Mother was a firm believer in the health benefits that cooking with stainless steel had to offer.
This set of cookware is easy to clean and is energy effieceint because the food can be cooked on a lower heat setting. I wanted stainless steel lids and not glass lids because the stainless steel lids are more durable. Sometimes the knobs on the glass lids wear the whole bigger and doesn't stay snug. Then the liquid evaporates which causes inferior cooking. I would buy this set of cookware again and when I get the money I will buy a set for each of my two daughters that are away at college.

I purchased this cookware thinking I got a quality set for a bargain price. Although there are things I like about the cookware - the finish, ease of cleaning, comprehensive set, etc., the cookware is very lightweight and not suitable for high heat cooking. Pretty disappointed in it.
