This is my 7th piece of Scanpan and I love it. It is solid, no need for high heat, totally non-stick and so very easy to clean. Perfect for all types of cooks.

I will pay what it takes for comfortable shoes and great cooking equipment. I am a stainless skillet girl, but there are times you need non stick. I have always bought cheap ones, used them for a year and bought new ones. Not any more. I now have 3 of these wonderful pans - non stick, dishwasher safe - and they will probably outlive me. Worth every cent.

I love ScanPan, but I think the CTX line is a little overpriced. I bought this and a dutch oven on sale and therefore I'm very happy. This fry pan is heavy, but the handle is ergonomic. It's great for cooking up some eggs. The sloped sides make is easy to stir if you are sauteing. Although I have only used plastic utensils I already see a few small scratches, but although I know those won't affect the non-stick properties I remember ScanPan holding up better.
Overall, a good pan for what I paid.

I like the safe ceramic and titanium inner wall protection. I was tired of going through those "cheap" teflon based pans each year as wife forgets and uses metallic utensils and those things did not last. From the other reviews I am hoping this one will stop that trend.. Only comment my wife has is that the handle could have been more ergonomic. The pan is quite heavy and for ladies without a strong grip it may represent a challenge. I may have to wrap the handle with a bicycle handle grip tape to make it easier for her.

I have a smooth electric cooktop, so I always preheat my nonstick pans on medium. Other pans had issues overheating (or not heating up enough) and slightly overdid food and the food did not retain heat very long.
This pan is amazing, to use a much overused word.
It heats up to medium perfectly and does not overheat, cooks food perfectly and the food definitely stays hot much longer after cooking.
The pan cleans up very easily and the exquisite velvet-like drawstring cover for both pans I purchased makes storage with other pans no problem at all.

My wife and I love this pan.It replaces a cast iron skillet that was too heavy for my wife to lift comfortably. It browns food beautifully-with or without oil, ands cleans easily as it is truly non stick.

This is a nice heavy pan. I have wanted one for a long time but the price deterred me. Since it went on sale I thought, now is my chance. Sometimes you need a nonstick pan for eggs, pancakes, etc. This pan is not supposed to scratch and flake off like other nonstick pans do. I just got it, so I can't review whether that will happen or not, only time will tell. I sure hope it lives up to that claim.
