When i received my new Shun knives, I knew I should do everything I could to keep them perfect; so I ordered the medium size Epicurean cutting board. The size is perfect. It holds everything I need to chop, plus it fits nicely into my cookie sheet cabinet. it's lightweight enough to pick it up to put your chopped food into the pan on the oven, too. I also like the indention around the board to catch water/liquid from whatever I am cutting. My knives haven't dulled at all while using this board either. It's a good purchase!

I've had this cutting board about a month now and love it! Thus far it seems to be knife friendly, which is especially nice with the new knives I am buying to replace older, lower-quality kinves. Cleans up easily, and looks nice.

I was pleasantly surprised. I normally use wooden cuttingboards only, because I do not want to ruin my expensive Wuesthof knives.
the board is not only very good looking, but it definetly does not dull your knives, like glass or plastic boards do.
One of the + is, that you can put it in the Dishwasher.
Now if you just would have them in a smaller size, I would purchase that immediately too.

This is my second Epicurean cutting board and I like it even better. The 18" surface provides more surface space for larger projects. On one side I have full surface space and on the flip side I can use the wide groove to catch juices from meats and other items. It is worth the price. I've had my other Epicurean cutting board for over 5 years and appreciate the durablity.

I purchased one of each size and they are perfect for any task in my kitchen! Not only are they functional, but they are also beautiful. I immediately threw out my old, sad mismatched cutting boards! I love that they are dishwasher safe, plus their heat-resistance makes them great for use as trivets for hot pots and pans. Definitely money well-spent!

This board is just great...good size, kind to my knives and the groove keeps all the juice on the board, instead of running all over the counter and my feet! Love that it can be put in dishwasher, too--unlike my expensive wooden boards!

My epicurean cutting board is just what I needed to place on top of my new Waring toaster oven. We keep our coffee cups on top, It slides back to uncover the toaster slots. It tolerates the heat and looks great.

I purchased the Epicurean Cutting Board. How does one get along with the others I do not know. Being able to pop it in the dishwasher is a God send. No more wondering if I got the cutting board sanitized after cutting up chicken.

Over the years, I've used every type of cutting board. Now I will stay with Epicurean Cutting Boards. The design is excellent, with the just-right groove to catch juices, the thumb hole for transfering ingredients, and the heat-resistent surface that allows it to double as a trivet. It's thin, so I can store several where I used to keep one thick wooden board. The ability to go in the dishwasher is icing on the cake!

I'm saving my great new cutting board for fruit--the grooves along the side catch the juice and keep the counter clean. Also, I can save the juice for fruit salad or fruit soup.
I wish the cost was lower, but will save up to buy another one for vegetables, as it's so easy to clean and doesn't make a thud when the knife strikes its surface.

The "gutter" is far too shallow. I carved a small, less than 2 lb roast on it and it was impossible to pick up the board without spilling the juices. I am sorry now that I bought 2 sizes of this disappointing product.

A very durable, hygienic cutting board that won't dull your blades.. Very easy clean up. Dish washer safe. Has the virtues of a good wood board without the maintenence and hygiene concerns. I purchased the medium and was very pleased with the working area. The blood grooves are a definite plus when carving meats. Good looking board, too.
