Set/2 Norpro Nonstick Tortilla Bowl Bakers : These fluted nonstick tortilla bowl bakers shape tortillas into light and crispy edible shells to serve individual taco salads, party-size salsa and dips or desserts. Easy to use without the hassle or extra calories of deep frying. Just spray pan lightly with cooking oil, press a large flour tortilla into pan, bake and let cool. These tortilla bakers are so much fun.I was buying the pre-made ones in the stores and they are a little greasy. Now I can just bake my own whenever I want. I usually make mexican bowls with meat, refried beans, lettuce, toms, green onions, cheese and sour cream. One complete meal all in one dish!

. The bowels work great! I had seen tortillas used a bowls at restaurants and wondered how they were made. It is easy. I have made lots of taco salads but will give them a try for holding chili. I enjoy using them and probably should have bought them before.

A little skeptical re: "infomercial" claims!! Gave it a try and it is great! Made a taco salad: piled chili, cheese,lettuce,onion,sour cream and a little guacamole in bakes tortilla shell AND IT WAS FAB!
Baking was simple-came out crisp-just like nacho chips EXCEPT baked and I assume lower calories!!
ALSO want to say you could easily pre bake some for a crowd-no need to buy 12! take minutes ot bake and easy to use/clean.

I love using tortilla bowls for salads, but the only ones I could find in the stores were not only very small, but also very expensive. Then I found these! They do a great job forming the bowls, crisping the shell ... they're just great! I warm the tortilla in the microwave for about 7 or 8 seconds to make it more pliable; brush some olive oil on one side and put that side down into the bowl baker. Bake at 375 for about 10 minutes and you have a nice sized salad bowl! Wish I had bought these earlier ... I've already recouped the cost just by the savings on buying the smaller ones in the stores plus these are so much more practical due to their larger size..

This is the neatest invention.....love these tortilla bowl makers. Easy clean up too. They're perfect! I followed some of the other reviewers and brushed the tortillas with olive oil before baking and it made them extra tasty.

The bowl makers lived up to expectations, but be very careful of the sharp edges. As I found out right away, it's quite easy to cut oneself on the metal rims. Apart from that, the product worked well and I was surprised how easily the tortillas settled into the grooves. Highly recommend this item, but knocking a star off for the cutting edge.

From the moment I opened the box and cut my finger when removing these tortilla bowl makers...not impressed. I use them once and gave them away..They just seem really cheap with very sharp edges. Don't waste your money..

I go ahead and bake an entire package of tortilla rounds and use them for scrambled egg omelets in the morning and use them as a bowl to serve taco salads in. You can store the baked rounds in saran wrap in the fridge. This last group was to increase my supply to 4 and 4 for a Christmas gift.

As a single mother, time is of the essence! I love the tortilla bowl maker because the bowls are quick and easy to make! They are fresh and whole, unlike the bowls I USED to buy in the store. Large tortillas make perfect bowls for a healthy taco salad for dinner and smaller tortillas are nice for making a smaller bowl to hold a scoop of ice cream for dessert. The clean up is quick and easy, too! It has a wide variety of uses. It is a great addition to my kitchen!
