I don't typically bother buying tools for jobs I can handle with my knives; however, when the summer strawberry season begins, that's a lot of berries to prep. I have arthritis in my hands and using a paring knife to hull the berries can be painful. For under $10, I figured I'd try it and if it didn't work, no big deal. This tool might look like a kid's toy, but I'm able to hull a few pounds of strawberries quickly and painlessly with it. I would definitely recommend it.

If you really like strawberries, this product is for you. It is simple and fun to use. It removes the caps with little effort and makes preparation of strawberries a snap. I highly recommend this item and use mine often. It's a great value.

I have only used this on tomatoes so far and it works awesome. I only wish I had it this past summer as I went through many, many pounds of tomatoes.
I am very sure that it will work just as well with strawberries. When strawberries are in season again, I know I will be using this all of the time.
This is a winner!!!

When strawberries are in season, we go to the farms and pick (and eat) til our baskets are overflowing. Next is the prep stage that can be time cosuming and tiresome - but not with this little gem!!! I love this! I had a pound of strawberries in the fridge when I received this and in less than 3 minutes - hulled strawberries were ready for strawberry pie. I have tried many hullers in the past and this one is the best by far. In fact, I purchased one for each of my daughters. You won't regret your purchase. I am now prepared for more strawberries this season. Haven't tried for tomatoes but I am sure it will work beautifully!!

I love the Chef'n Stem Strawberry Huller and don't know how I did without it. I have not tried it on tomatoes, yet. I highly recommend this handy little tool. ( Don't forget to give the tool that little twist before pulling).

I love this little gadget. It is fast & easy and you don't waste any of the strawberry. It takes a few times to get use to but once you get it, its great! I bought 3 more for my sisters and brother.

This is a good product to have if you go through a lot of strawberries like we do. It works just as it says and is simple to do so. The only downside is it should have some sort of spring back mechanism to close the coring part over the part being taken out. This would make it even easier.

I have tried for years to get the core out of strawberries and not damage the shape of the berry. I read once how to do this using a straw but that only works some of the time. This new item is the star of the show. It is so easy to use. A friend of mind told me about this tool and she said I would love it and trust me, she was so right. We eat a lot of strawberries and this has made getting them ready to use of eat a cinch!

I don't know why I didn't buy this years ago. I've always hulled strawberries with my fingernails, but this little gadget makes it so easy and does a much better job.

Fun and easy to use. Makes it so much easier to hull the box of strawberries. My husband even tried it and got a real kick of out using it. Now it's a battle to see who gets to hull the strawberries.

It took a few berries to get the hang of it but it works well. Especiailly on larger berries. I am curious to try it on tomatos.

I used one of these devices and they are great. They take out the stem and the inner stem with one push. Then let go of the button. We let the kids do the work and it's fun. Highly recommend.

The Chef 'n Stem Gem Strawberry Huller is one of the best gadgets ever! It's quicker and cleaner for preparing strawberries than any other product I've tried. As an added benefit, my fingertips aren't red when I get done using it. There will be quite a few people who be getting these as stocking stuffers this Christmas.

This tool is the quickest way to hull strawberries. I used to use a small paring knife and ended up taking more of the fruit then I wanted to take...now it's quick and I love using it. it's easy to clean and easy to find in the drawer. I bought one for a friend as well...will make berry season simple!

My Husband laughs at me whenever I want a "gadget" but I ordered my "gadget" anyway and just love it. It makes hulling strawberries a breeze and I even use it to remove the stem section from my tomatoes. I will probably try it on the "eyes" of a pineapple that are left once you skin it. It is just easy and even fun. My grandchildren even like using it. I rccommend it highly. One of the best "gadgets" I have ever purchased.
