This sharpener works great for bringing the edge back to new on your favorite knives! It does requires a lot of strokes if you have to re-shape the edge (50 strokes is recommended), sharpens the edge in 25 strokes. I like that it sharpens all blades, even serrated ones, so you don't need separate sharpeners. Stores easily in your utensil drawer!
In the kitchen, I'm never without: my non stick griddle pan!

This knife sharpener is compact, easy to use, and works as well as I would have wished. My old dull knives, both cheap and expensive, are sharp again! I bought this item because it was advertised as being able to sharpen all kinds of knives. And it does just that.

Sharpener does an excellent job on all types of knives, even serrated knives. And it's easy to use. Design makes it easy to hold firm while sharpening. Slots are marked so you don't have to remember which slot your different type of knives are to use for sharpening. Would purchase again. Would make a great gift.

I love a truly sharp knife as do most cooks. After a review and comparison in Cooks Magazine where this knife sharpener was rated tops for manual sharpeners I just had to try one. It works so well and with minimal effort, just a few strokes is all it took on any of my knives. I would recommend it to anyone. I could not believe the difference even with knives that I had thought were sharp.

This knife sharpener is small enough to keep handy on the counter or in a drawer. I am pleased with the results of knives sharpened and honed in the three slots. It works much better than the steel I have been using and at a modest price compared to other sharpeners. It works well for left-handed users like myself.

I normally don't participate in reviews but this sharpener so exceeded my expectations that I felt compelled to tell you how great a performer it is. Not only is the price right but it actually made sharpening my knives an enjoyable task. The balance and comfort as well as its ability to do the job with little effort had me singing its praises to family and friends. Probably my best buy in a long while.

This knife sharpener was just as advertised. Sharpens up good blades in just a couple of minutes and needs no electricity. Very compact, easy to store and easy to use with excellent written instructions.
Haven't yet tried my serrated knives, but am sure they will do equally well.

Have always had my knives professsionally sharpened, because I had some bad experiences with electric knife sharpeners, as well as hand sharpeners, but when I used this one, it was great! No scratches, no nicks, and the blade came out perfectly sharpened and honed. I would definitely recommend if you can't have knives professionally sharpened or for in-between maintenance.
