I have never seen a canister for brown sugar. The canisters are just the perfect size and air tight. I love my new canisters

I am thrilled with these canisters. The overall size of these is quite large. I don't have to stop and refill them while spending the day baking! Best of all, they prompted me to get rid of the clutter in my kitchen in order to showcase the new set. They look fabulous.

I had looked for canisters for a year to put in my new kitchen and I finally found these. Everything that I saw previously, wouldn't even fit one package of flour or sugar and for a serious baker that doesn't work. I can fit over two 5 lb bags of flour and sugar in the canisters. They are quite large, so you need the room for them, but they are perfect for me. The off white coloring and brown lettering fits right in with my decor

Purchased these canisters as a Christmas gift for my son. He wanted canisters that actually hold an entire bag of flour and sugar. I took a peek to be sure they arrived in one piece. They look great and will without a doubt hold the entire bag of flour and sugar and then some. I can't say how well they work because they are not for me and he won't receive them until December. Hope he loves them and if they work well for him, I may just order a set for myself.

I bought these canisters because of their size and style. The color goes with any kitchen decor and being made of stoneware they keep the contents fresh and dry. The flour container was much larger than I had imagined but have come to appreciate the nice wide openings for scooping. The flour container would hold at least 8 to 10 LBs of flour if not more, and the white sugar container will hold about 6 to 8 Lbs or sugar. The brown sugar container holds about 4 Lbs of sugar. The set is perfect for the chef or home baker.

Been waiting for months for the whole canister set to come back in stock. My sister-in-law had them and I wanted them.
Purchased whole set.
I LOVE THEM! Really large sizes, not those little ones where you constantly have to refill.
Highly recommend, but make sure you have space on your counter. They are too nice looking to have in cupboard.

I got these for my husband who bakes to relax. He told me about a set of canisters his Grandmother had in her kitchen to keep flour & sugar and asked me to find somthing like that. I was happy when I saw these canisters in your catalog, their capacity is what he wanted; and appreciated even more when he received them.
In the kitchen, I'm never without: The right tool for the job; my family calls me the gadget queen & makes fun of me until they need it.

I purchased this canister set to replace a set broken in a move. The original set had different lids which I liked better (they were flat as opposed to the domed lids in this set) but the overall size and shape of the canisters are the same so I am able to use either lid. I think the canisters are very unique in style and not seen in every kitchen. I have received many compliments on these and was thrilled to be able to find another set to replace the broken set.

I expected my "stoneware" canisters to be heavier and more durable from what I received, these canisters are what I would call ceramic not stoneware. I put them in my dishwasher when I first received them as I would any product that is stamped on the bottom "dishwasher safe" and the printed "flour, brown sugar, sugar" came right off! Some of them not entirely so I have this mess on one side of my canisters. I just turn them around to the back so no one can see the ugliness, but I was really dissapointed. I would send them back but it will cost me too much to do that so I will keep them and try to remove the remaining lettering.

I love them! They go well with the Fresh Valley canisters, also from Chef's, in my kitchen. They are classic, so I will use them forever and are great for those of us who like to bake and need a larger size. I have not been able to find anything like this anywhere else. A little splurge for me, but worth it.

maybe i just don't bake enough to use storage of this size. i looked at the flour canister and thought it would work well for making sauerkraut, but in the end it was just too large for my relatively small kitchen. would absolutely recommend to someone with a larger kitchen who bakes a lot.

When I unpacked my box I was surprised how BIG these crocks really are (I read the measurements and they are correct, I just didn't envision them accurately!) and was concerned that they might be TOO big...but, they are perfect!!! They are big enough to scoop right out of them, which I love...and look both country-ish and modern as well! Love them!!!

I loved the look of these online and the large size was exciting! But the biggest flour canister is quite huge for a counter (even though it would be amazing to have that much flour at hand). I returned these after seeing them in person because of the 1) huge size of the largest canister 2) they are much more yellow than cream/off-white as pictured online 3) the lid of the largest canister did not seal as tight as the others and that was a worry 4) the base of the large canister was not level and it wobbled.
Although I was excited about the capacity and style of these, the color and huge size did not match my kitchen/the look i was going for.

By having the cannisters right there on the counter by my mixer instead of up in the cabinet, it is so much easier to mix ingredients for whatever I'm making. I can dip the measuring cups in and smooth them off without getting the counter all messy. It frees up the limited space in my cabinets and they look so nice sitting there in plain sight. Even with them sitting there on the counter, there is still plenty of work space left. They are just what I needed! I wish you made smaller containers for the additional products that are usually needed when one is baking - baking powder, baking soda, salt, cocoa, etc. Maybe you could also make some larger ones without the contents being printed on the outside.

Finally after looking for years for solid, attractive canisters that would hold a 10 lb bag of flour and 5lb of sugar, I found them here. Good seals, wide top to accommodate large measuring cups and an overall pleasant appearance which means I don't mind them sitting on my counter.

Love this canister set. Actually saw one in a home while house hunting with my daughter. i happen to have the potato, onion, garlic canisters and knew it had to be a Chefs product. I got the new catalog and was thrilled to find the set and ordered it right away. Could not wait for Christmas because it was needed to do all the baking prior to Christmas!

I had ordered my first set of canisters a couple of years ago and ordered a second set for my daughter. I returned my most recent purchase because they were not as heavy or durable and the printed writing on one of the canisters was smudged. These were not as nice as the first set I had ordered for the same cost.
