This can opener opens cans and does so without any sharp edges. This makes it extremely safe when handling the can after opening it. However, my favorite feature is its ability to open the pull tabs that are now on many soup cans. This opener can also help relieve the pressure on jar lids making them easier to open too. I highly recommend this can opener!

Am very happy with the can opener. It has a lot of features and everyone works! Finally have a can opener that works. Had a pretty expensive one before. Would have to go round and round the can numerous times before it would open. Now, with the Kuhn Rikon, around one time and can is open. Also love the jar opener. Have lost a lot of strength in my hands and this reature makes it so easy. Great product,

We found that it didn't seem to actually perform most of the functions as we had expected. For example, the ribbed round hole for unscrewing bottle caps didn't fit any bottle caps we could find. Not much usefulness for the price.

While I loved the idea of combining several features into one tool, the implementation of this concept fell short. The major failing was the can opener. This is not the 'cut the top off' opener; it separates the lid from the body of the can. The tool failed on the first can. It appears that the wheel shaft is bent out of alignment. So I'm back to my old can opener.
