This product takes the place of very expensive wine refrigerators. It chills different types of wine to different recommended temperatures - red, white and sparkling!

The VinPodium works as advertised - it chilled red wine to about 62 deg in 3-5 minutes and a bottle of white to 46 deg in about 8-10 minutes. There is no assembly required - just take it out of the box, add the water, ice and wine and turn it on. Have a hand towel ready - if the label is at all loose on the bottle, the flowing water will splash off onto your counter; not a big deal though. I would recommend lining up the gap in the labels directly under the water spout - that helped minimize the splashing. For additional bottles, simply turn it on to extract a cup of water, then add a dozen more ice cubes - it's that simple.
