This is an old favorite of mine and I purchased this as a gift for a friend who came for roasted duck dinner at my house over the holidays. She admired the way way I could part the duck into nice pieces ready for serving and I gave all the credit to the ' scissors'. So, she is getting this as a birthday gift.

These shears were bought out of desperation. I have so far cut up several chickens and haven't cut myself once. I absolutely could not have retained my sanity without the aid of these great scissors. I ordered this product to help with preparation of spatchcock chicken to be cooked on my outdoor bbq smoker. Excellent tool for the job of butterflied chicken. I highly recommend this tool!

Very sharp and strong. Handles are comfortable and nicely shaped. They are also rubberized, so they will not slip, especially when cutting wet items such as poultry. I like these better than the ones that cost 3 or 4 times as much.

I really like the ease in which I can cut up a whole chicken with these shears. The curved blades along with the padded handle makes the job a chinch. The blades come apart which allows me to completely clean them.

Makes short, easy work of spatch-cocking or disjointing even a semi-frozen "Sunday Roaster" chicken. Easy to clean. Price is right. Probably not the tool for more delicate tasks (e.g., snipping herbs). The only reason I've only given them 3 stars is that we haven't used them long enough to have a sense of their ultimate durability.

Received my shears promptly, even though they were ordered right at the Christmas holiday. Once you get used to only one loop in the handle they are easy to use and cut very well. I really like that they can be taken apart for cleaning.
