Commercial Stainless Steel Mandoline Slicer : Made of 18/10 stainless-steel with rubber grip and legs for nonslip stability, this heavy-duty stainless-steel commercial mandoline includes precision-sharp German blades for quick, accurate slicing. The side dial conveniently lets you adjust thickness of cuts, while the safety pusher protects fingers and holds food in place during slicing. This well-built manual machine juliennes and slices soft or hard vegetables and fruits and creates waffle cuts, even from dense vegetables such as sweet potatoes, beets or squash. Includes 2 julienne blades, 1/8" and 3/8", (3 thickness adjustments: 1/8" 1/4" and 3/8"), stationary straight blade, and stationary waffle blade. Polished stainless-steel. The mandoline, blades and safety holder are dishwasher-safe. All the vegetables in the garden are ripening at a rapid rate and it makes the work of preparing them quick and easy with sharp blades and a mandoline that changes functions with the twist of the knob. The machine is very stable and did not tip over when slicing long vegetables. The cleanup was easy and the legs fold down so it is easy to store. I have tried hand slicing and the slices are not always the same and it takes hours to prepare them for canning.

Not only is this the best mandoline that I have ever put my hands on, it is simply stunning to look at. Furnctional, well designed, quality and easy to use all in one mandoline. Now I can make potato chips and enjoy them without thinking about how much money I spent, or how many crumbs are left at the bottom of the bag. Two large potatoes equals a large bag of chips. Do I save money? YES I DO! Am I pleased with my purchase? YES I AM! Get one for yourself real soon and join the line of happy cooks.

Product is well made and sturdy. Easy to set up and use. The storage case keeps it clean and compact for storage. Slicing of cabbage, carrots and potatoes turned out great.

I purchased these (2) mandoline slicers for my two sons as Christmas gifts. One son asked for the mandoline and I decided that the other son needed one also. Come Christmas morning I might just order one for myself.
The 18/10 stainless-steel of the mandoline is very substantial. Others that I have had were weak, little

This is the greatest purchase ever...well, almost ever...we don't much like frozen french fries, bagged coleslaw, etc. and this little gem makes "homemade" a snap.

Have wanted to own a mandoline for years. This one was worth the wait. We have julienned, sliced and waffled just about everything we bring in from our garden and am thrilled with the ease to use and relative ease to clean.

I had to make eggplant parm for a crowd...it was so perfect to cut to thickness I wanted and all uniform. Sturdy, easy to use..absolutely loved it.

I have always wanted a better way to slice at various thicknesses. For years I have been using a 40 year old Magic slicer. It is nice to use something with a sharper blade.

I am very happy with my new mandoline from CHEFS. One of my customer's favorite items is my homemade sweet potato chips. This tool slices them as thinly as they need to be for the best cruch.
I also use the mandoline to slice veggies when I am making homemade soup .

Ordered this as a replacement from another mandoline that had gotten too dull.
I love the sharpness of the blades (don't think the old one was this sharp when new) and really like the weight of this mandoline. It's sturdy, doesn't feel as if it's going to move once it's in place and stands up to everything I've used it on so far.
There are a lot of cutting options on this one also although I haven't used them. We make dehydrated sweet potato treats for our dogs and I sliced a case of partially baked sweet potatoes very, very thin and had no problems at all. The cut was fabulous, nice and thin and the blades slid right through the pretty firm sweet potatoes.
Clean up was quick and easy also!

i wanted a mandoline for years but hesitated to purchase one because they were expensive and I was afraid they would be difficult to use.
Wrong! It is a breeze and cuts my prep time by at least 70%. I made Scalloped potatoes with onions and the slices were beautiful and the onions perfect.. I look forward to making my own french fiys and chips. I highly reccomend the professional stainless steel mandoline. Clean up is a snap. I love it!

The first day when I got it I was so exited to use it that I grab some carrots. Big surprice the carrot got stock in the knife and I was afraid of taking it off, I try several times and the same thing happend again I just hided in my cabinet!

I read all the reviews (good & bad) and having previously bought a $200.00 professional mandoline I was very undecided about whether to purchase this item. I was not disappointed; this a high-quality piece of equipment. I live alone, but in the summer I process a lot of food from my garden and I buy fresh food & cook from scratch in the winter. Give this a try!

I use the mandoline frequently and had a plastic one before purchasing this SS mandoline. It is large but fortunately does fit in my drawer. It caused me to clean out my kitchen drawers which I feel is a side plus to this purchase. It is stable and angled right. It also accommodates larger vegetables eliminating the need to cut them to fit the bed of the slicer. It's blades are sharp and it has more options than my old one - (waffle-cut) plus it has an adjustable slicing size that my old one didn't. I really like this machine but remember that it is bigger/longer than most.

This is a 5 star tool with a 4 star rating because it would be better used by a person with a strong arm and sure movements. I am learning the method needed for best results. I do use this, I love the end product but I am a small 61 yr. old woman and can see that youth and strength would make better use of this than I do.

I've wanted a professional mandolin my whole adult life. OMG! It was worth the wait. This is the perfect mandolin. I was able to get one on sale and it is fantastic. The flimsy plastic ones are poor quality and their frames crack with even casual use. Their blades dull quickly, if they were ever sharp, and they just don't do a good even job. This commercial mandolin is outstanding. Very sharp blade, onboard blades, fast and easy to use and clean up. No rust stainless. If you make healthy meals, Asian soups, or entertain, wait for a sale and get one!
