I bought these mitts for a friend and got myself a pair, too. They're very high quality, but for very large hands. If you have small hands, you may not be able to handle your hot stuff with much finesse. So although I rated them "excellent," I find them a bit large for me.

These are just what I have been looking for. I have smaller hands, but I do not find these too large for me. I especially like the smaller length of the thumb on these oven mitts. The other pairs I have owned had larger thumbs and they always seemed to touch the food when I would pull out the cookie sheet/baking pan. Not with these; they are the perfect size! I also like how long these are, no more worries about burning my arms. Seem to be very well insulated as well, as I can hold one cookie sheet coming out of the oven while putting a new cookie sheet into the oven and the heat does not go through the gloves. Thank you!

These are great! If you are lifting out something that extends back into the oven, these will well protect your arms from the top of the oven. I am looking forward to no more red marks on my wrists. They definitely are well padded/insulated.

These gloves are great but soooo BIG, it makes them clumsy to use. They work really well to handle hot things, seem to be well insulated. I'm sure I'll get used to the size....darn sure can't burn my arms with these on!

These mitts are perfect for my husband's big hands. They are long enough too, as well as thick enough. They are replacing another set that had completely worn out after years of use. We are very pleased with these, and they are a great buy for the price.

Nice oven mitts but these things are big. Well at least you won't get burned reaching in the oven. They go up to my elbows.

I bought the Mitts after burning my arm on the top of the oven when removing a pan. They now protect that area and I wont have to fear that anymore. Great heat resistance.

The oven mittens are of fine quality and protect arms as well as hands. They are very large and should come in a small size also, this is important because you cannot get a firm grip on objects.

My parents love these oven mitts since they are durable and large enough even for my dads large hands. He always has trouble finding oven mitts that are large enough for him and he always comes back to chefs and gets these mitts! Thanks for letting me get him an awesome Christmas gift!

I don't know why I did not purchase these sooner, like years ago. The ones I had been using were small, not nearly as heat resistant, and well, not NEW! These are fabulous and I strongly recommend one OR more pairs for anyone who ever cooks!!

They do protect my lower arms from hot rack burns when taking out breads, etc., but they are a little big for my hands. I wish they came in different sizes - small, medium and large would be helpful.

The kept me from getting burnt but the material is so thick

These are great. My husband uses them when he grills veggies. With the other gloves he had his arm would get burned occasionally. Very good quality.
