Works great on my dried basil leaves. They come out perfect, not a powder and not too big. There are sometimes a few larger pieces that fall through but not a big deal. On fresh herbs, it's a little more difficult to get the same results but from everything I've tried, this is the best for fresh herbs. They just take a little more time to work with inside the mill but they come out in nice tiny pieces perfect for anything you're going to use them for.

Nice to grind my dry herbs well, instead of my usual scissors. Very easy to fill and use, and the herbs were in small pieces - perfect for my soups. Now looking for dry herbs in the supermarket.

This was the first product I bought from Chefs. It makes cutting fresh herbs so much easier and looks so much better. I showed it to family and friends and they are going to order also. I have a small garden in the summer and it's nice to put the fresh herbs in my own mill

I used this a few nights ago when I made some soup. I wanted to put some Rosemary and Parsley in the soup, so went out and cut some fresh of my plants and put the Rosemary on one side and Parsley on the other. It work great. So fast to use and easy to clean. No more chopping up herbs and carrying them to the pot. Just twist right over the pot and done. I then put more Parsley in it and sprinkled a bit on top of each serving to look pretty. Very happy with this product.

When I use this item with leafy herbs especially basil and sometimes chives the meal looks and tastes stupendous. I am not too good with manual dicing and using knives with rosemary, thyme and parsley so the herb mill is the best for me.

Because I would have been able to return it!! Maybe I am doing something wrong, but it just flattens herbs and really doesn't work well at all.
I tried using it once and it was awful, and after cleaning it, I gave up on putting it back together. I actually am planning to put it in the recyle bin as I foundit to be a waste of money---like I said, I should have bought it from Chefs!

This product works great, the only draw back is there are a lot of parts to clean. But it works very well chopping parsley and basil. I bought two more for my two daughters.

used as directed for parsley -- very pleased both in the dish and as garnish, especially because my parsley was not totally dry. Easy to clean. HOWEVER, putting the device back together was maddening -- the directions are not nearly as explicit as they need to be. I would have sent it back but my engineer husband saw it as a puzzle to be solved and in a little more than a half an hour he figured it out.
