This is a really superb frying pan, especially with the dome lid. Functionally it's non-stick without the hassles of a polymer surface. PAM won't void the warranty like it does on the All-Clad non-stick.
Good height for bodaciously tall dumplings (Chickn-N-Dumplins). I still use true non-stick for eggs.

Very good skillet. Even heating and easy clean-up. Was concerned about the size being too small for everyday cooking, but was pleasantly surprised to learn that it fit well on my stove burner. First stainless steel skillet that I like as well as my cast iron!

This skillet is much lighter than my other All-Clad pans. It is deeper and I love the domed lid. Cooks food evenly and clean up is a snap.

Evenly cooks, heavy, but balanced with a stay-cool handle. Washed up easily. It will be a favorite, I'm sure. This is my first piece of All-Clad. I'm sure I'll watch the sales and purchase more!

I have been cooking all my life, and own all sorts of cookware. This skillet is absolutely excellent, in all regards. The heat conduction is superb, and the domed lid makes it very versatile. You can quick fry hamburgers or a steak, sautee or steam vegetables, make a small stew, or fry eggs. And it cleans up very easily. I love cooking with this skillet.

I own about 8 or 9 All-Clad pots and pans and love them all. When I received this All-Clad Tri-Ply Stainless-Steel Skillet I was disappointed in the quality of the skillet. It was light in weight and felt flimsy compared to all my other All-Clad products. Just the way of the world I guess. It's too bad a quality product has to take this route.

When using a skillet with non-stick coating to sear/brown meat, you simply don't get the proper results; and, I have been looking for almost a year for a small skillet, with a lid, that does NOT have non-stick coating. The cost of this pan was a little more dear than I would have liked, but I absolutely love this pan. The weight, design, and quality workmanship get high marks and it cleans nicely. All in all, it is still a better value than some of others I've seen.
