I got really tired of replacing inexpensive food processors, so I decided to bite the bullet and get something substantial. This one is it. It's heavy, so you need to devote a little counter space to it, but the cutting discs come in a handy case that can be put in a drawer or pantry (high shelf if you have children). The work bowls and lid snap easily into place. It's quiet, too. Totally happy with this purchase.

Love Kitchen Aid but this product is not the best

I love Kitchen Aid and think they are a great product. This one those has some serious flaws. First, the style is great. The ease of use is great. What I absolutely hated about this product is that it leaks! When you want to use wet ingredients, forget it! It spits out and also makes a mess on your counter. I was making a simple orange juice/lemon juice w/ olive oil dressing -- small amounts too -- and it leaked and it's a mess to try to pour. The blade will not lock in place and pouring shredded beets out was a big mess. Also, the juicer is not that easy to use. It's powerful, granted but not easy to use. So, I'm sorry, I can't recommend this processor.

Very heavy duty product. Great quality. Only complaint I have is that the large feeder tube is a little hard to maneuver, but it does the job very well and serves it's purpose.

Wow!. I have been totally impressed with this food processor. The large hopper allows processing for family size meals. The controls are simple and what is necessary for the kitchen pro that relies on experience for the time necessary in the on position. Simple enough for the kitchen weekender to do quality work and grows with your experience.
