Having olive trees that produce small olives, this pitter is the best I've found. The rubber seat will hold small to large fruit. Although it doesn't punch out the pit perfectly on my small olives, it works better than any pitter I've found out there.

This works pretty slick, If you line up the stem it comes out with the pit too. This works quite a bit faster than using a knife.

I've only tried it on olives, as I wanted to stuff my own. I used a whole jar of the large olives. I put them in every which way. I expected there'd be waste until I got the hang of it. Well there wasn't one that I'd stuff and present. The olives came out broken, all mangled up! Waste of time. In all fairness, I will give it one more shot using the smaller olives. Very disappointed.

This product works better than I thought it would--it punches a neat hole in a cherry as it forces the pit out the other side. The spring that opens the pitter is the same type that's used in tongs, so I would think it would last. Definitely easier and neater than removing the pits with a paring knife!

I have used this on cherries and olives. It removes the pits cleanly with little loss. The scoop is useless, cherries need to be aligned top or bottom up or it puts a hole through without removing the pit. I am a male with long large hands and find it comfortable to grip someone with small hands may have a hard time griping around the tool to press out the pits. The locking feature is nice for storage in cabinet draws.

Well, I'm a label reader and I have discovered that the only olives that I have found that are totally natural and have no additives and preservatives contain the pits. So, I ordered this olive/cherry pitter to remove the pits. Works great, and now I enjoy healthy olives in my salad everyday. Thanks!

Shipment was very fast, and I found the Olive Pitter up to it's presentation. Well worth the money and works very well. It's well built and looks like it will last for many uses.
