With this innovative nonslip cutting board, you can chop, dice, mince or slice and slide discards into the detachable bin for quick disposal. Bin hooks onto the cutting board edge and opens to 15"L x 3"W to temporarily store stems, peelings, meat trimmings or rinds in the scrap bin. Collapses to 1 3/4"W when not in use. The edge and nonskid feet on this cutting board provide a stable, nonslip working surface. Durable polypropylene. Dishwasher-safe.

I finally found something to catch all the vegetable scraps instead of them flying all over the counter top. My husband would use the sink to throw the scraps in but now with the scrap bin it makes it easier to collect in one area and discard. The Cutting Board is of excellent quality and its easy to clean up.

I like to make lots of salads. So I'm cutting up lots of vegi's. This works Great! I love it. I only have to toss the little container goodie once. I recommend it!

From what can see through the clear plastic wrapping, this unit appears to be designed very well, and should function as advertised. I won't know for sure until the person who receives it tries it out sometime after Christmas 2011
