I have never owned quality constructed kitchen knives. Always cheap stamped sets that eventualy came appart and didn't keep a sharp edge. These knives feel solid and I am slicing and dicing veggies effortlessly, carving and handeling meat much easier than before. Very happy with my purchase.

An excellent starter set--these 3 knives cover the basics you need for the kitchen, with room to pick and choose what you would like to add later on. We chose this set because we found other sets or kits overwhelming-- they either included lots of knives we couldn't imagine ever using or were missing one or two knives we knew we would like/need.
Having used these for a few weeks, I would say that possible addition in the future include: (1) a smaller chef's/santoku knife for me, as I find the chef's knife a little too large constant use with my smaller hands and (2) a slightly longer paring/detail knife for my husband's larger hands.
